I love this so much I plan to purchase another!
I love my little rimless bookshelf tank, but it's a betta d**th-trap - I've lost several little buddies to jumping out. I was so upset, I promised never to get another betta. Until I did. This time, I vowed that I wouldn't let anyone jump and I've kept it sealed with plastic wrap. An effective, if unsightly, solution.Enter this little mesh lid kit. Though it doesn't come with directions, there is a video under the description of the product. This seller believes in you - and so do I! It was so easy, and even though I made some mistakes in cutting, it still works perfectly. I included pictures to show how I dealt with the two lights and a hang-on back filter. The magnetic strip is very powerful and sturdy enough to create a little "bar" in front of the HOB filter. It seems very durable, but will probably wear out in a couple of years. That's why I want to get another kit to have on hand -just in case.

Genius
I don't have time to write reviews. I felt I had to with this one. I absolutely love this product. Its Solid. Magnets are strong. It blends in. No sagging (if assembled right). Lays over the top of chords without gaps. Access is way easier than pulling of an acrylic lid. I have this over a 40 breeder reef for about a month now so I can't answer longevity questions with salt creep. But for the price and ease of assembly. Replacing this once a year (if needed) is not an issue.

Awful, flimsy, nearly impossible install
This things comes in multiple strips and pieces and you have to put it together with NO instructions and it seems impossible to get the net to stay in place it’s always falling in the tank and the net is the cheapest markers I could easily tear it with my fingers 0/10 I will be returning

Watch the video for install
This worked great. I had to watch the video to make sure I was using it correctly but it is secure. My turtle cannot push it open which was my biggest concern.

Not worth the money
I had got this for a 40 gallon fish tank and it worked fine at first but the mesh was not staying on after I had to pick it up a lot to clean cage. And it didn’t hold up

Tank top

Easy, quick and affordable
Truly for the cost and simplicity for the hobby, this was a easy, quick and with a little finesse looks better than the acrylic top I had as it breathes without letting my fish commit suicide.... unsure longevity but my fluval flex 15 has a new look and lovin it. I left the back open so my air hose, heater cord and filter cord could just flop out the back vs cutting holes etc.

Super produit mais très dure à cliper
C’est un bon produit mais le clipage du plastique est extrêmement difficile pour le reste ça va bien.

Top fitting is better
I like that it is fairly easy to use and is much cheaper than buying a separate hood for your aquarium. I think it is better for larger tanks that have 6mm thick glass (probably larger than 60L) Mine is only 4mm glass (54L tank) and so I used the side fitting method - problem being it cannot be rolled back, as in the video, but has to be lifted up whole like a hinged lid.
