GB eye The Lord of The Rings Classic Map 61 x 91.5cm Maxi Poster

I don’t often write reviews but I thought I’d (hopefully) clear up any misunderstandings from previous comments. This product is a printed poster, just like all the different posters you can buy on any high street. It has quite a glossy finish - like posters generally do. I can read all the text on it, without my reading glasses! I’m not a LOTR nerd but do enjoy the story very much. I’m currently listening to the audio book (from Audible!) and wanted to be able to follow where the characters are going. This is perfect for that. In my opinion, it would also be a lovely thing to frame and hang. I hope this helps someone!

Im a teenage fan of Lotr. I though this map was really good for its money!! it was one of the cheapest versions i have found. The priting is good. you can see all of the names clearly. There are paths showing you different journeys. GB Posters is the same place that HMV (one of the most well-known poster shops) ordered this poster from to sell in their shop. It has elfish around the outside. which was a nice touch. I was really pleased. dont be put of with bad comments. I did a lot of research to find the best one of these maps that was at a good price. ......Overall: Really happy with it. especially for a low price. :) :)

The map is very shiny and colour heavy. Some of the detail isn't amazing but it's perfectly adequate for my 11 year old. I, as a lotr fan, wouldn't put this on my wall as it's a bit over coloured but I am pretty fussy. It's fine for my child.

The map arrived in a poster tube, well packaged. Upon opening, we spread it out to admire and wow at it - we were not diappointed.The map looks stunning.TO ensure that it didnt get damaged over longer periods of time, rather than stick it up with blutack, we bought the corresponding black frame with it - it looks simply amazing on the wall. The colour is spot on - exactly as shown online - yellows and oranges and browns. Plenty of detail.Highly recommend to any LOTR fan, but would recommend buying it with the corresponding poster frame and using adhesive strips to keep it up

when I first saw this poster on amazon I was a bit sceptical as to buying it because of the low price but I am so glad I did because the quality, the writing, the details on the poster is just so clear and amazing and I cant fault it in any way. being a massive lord of the rings trilogy fan and having a lot of merchandise a map of middle earth was an essential edition to my collection and it proudly sits above my bed in a fantastic frame to suit the awesomeness of the poster inside of it! I wish I could give it more than 5* because I would in a heartbeat

Fantastic poster. I don't know why people keep saying that "you get what you pay for", I would say that "you get better than you pay for". It looks as a standard poster would look, if you picked it up from, say HMV.And to all those complaining about the blurriness, I won't say that some of the writing is blurry, but please ask yourself, when is small text on a poster map not blurry. The text on the map is image, it's not text.The colour is amazing, and quality of print is not questionable.

I am very happy with this buy! But it didn't start so well, but it got a happy ending.The thing is, I received the poster, and the packaging had been damaged on the way and so the poster was ruined. I complained to the seller, explaining what had happened, and they sent me another poster. Which just arrived, the packaging in good condition and the poster is perfect! :D So I am very happy with the whole thing!
