They are really nice. Soft lace comfortable but they do not go anywhere near the waist. I would not call them high waisted. I didn't expect these to be anything special given the price but I'm pleasantly surprised. They are super soft and stretchy while providing a little tummy support. They are not tight around the legs nor do they cause a weggy. I'm normally an XL but went up a size because I have wide hips and a decent sized rear. They fit well and I'd highly recommend it you are looking for comfort without the granny underwear look.
