Nice tea, not too fast acting
I'm not really big into detox tea so I wasn't really sure about this tea. I've used just Senna Leaf in the past so I knew what to expect. The tea is very mild and has a nice taste. The effect was not instant it was an overnight process. I plan to use it occasionally in place of just senna leaf which for me is just a little too strong. Overall very pleased with the results and will buy again.

Not single packed
Based on the pictures, it shows with a string and paper tag (usually this type of tea is individually packed). The real product is just a bunch of pouches, no string or paper tag, in a single non-resealable bag.

Two Thumbs Up for Delicious "Detox" Tea by the Folks at Carlyle
What is a Detox tea? I'm a fan of the top three ingredients in this tea, Ginger, Licorice and Cinnamon, so I guess it makes sense that I'm a fan of the taste of this tea. The only downside of it is that they say on the box not to drink it for more than 7 days in a row.Carlyle Nutritionals seems to be reputable, partly because they claim three generations and 40 years of experience. That said, it looks like this company was founded six years ago in 2018, as that's when other trademark activity of theirs started. So, nosy me, I'd love to know their full history. Who are the three generations? Where did the other 34 years of experience come from?Accountability wise, Carlyle claims to be a manufacturer, and they claim that their products are made in Good Manufacturing Practices Certified facilities (on their web site). This tea claims on the box to be "packaged in lab tested" in the US, but also per the box it is a product of India that has been "Carefully Designed and Distributed" by Carlyle Nutritionals. The box also bears a "GMP" seal, but it doesn't specify being "GMP certified".Quality: When I opened the sealed box I was greeted by a lovely, intense ginger smell. I didn't quite follow brewing instructions, because I'm a lazy microwave tea person. But I heated it up a couple minutes and then let it sit for about 3-4 minutes more. I *did* follow the instructions and added sweetener (1 Pk Stevia) and thoroughly enjoyed this "Detox" tea. But then again, I love ginger, Licorice, and Cinnamon. The lesser 3 ingredients are Burdock, Dandelion Root and Senna, which I suppose I tasted in the background, were a teensy bit medicinal tasting.About that word "Detox". The first ingredient is Ginger, and ginger is said to promote "gastrointestinal motility", while last ingredient Senna is said to promote, well, something similar. And since Carlyle says it Helps support digestive health, I'm guessing "Detox" is a code word for that! While this is a tasty tea, it does say not to take it more than 7 days in a row. And if you're on medications, it's always a good idea to speak with your doctor before trying new herbal preparations of any kind. Herbs can be helpful, but only if they're used wisely. Four stars are only because I can't drink as much of this tea as I'd like to.

Gentle Detox Tea!
I really like this Herbal Detox Tea by Carlyle! It has several wonderful ingredients that could help with more than just for a "detox" if you do your own research, but it's also just a great natural tea to drink on an occasional basis. The Senna Leaf is what really flushes your system the most and does make you need to go to the bathroom more frequently, so I would recommend drinking it when you know you don't have to leave the house right away. That's what works best for me! It's not very sweet-tasting, but I enjoy its strong flavor. The tea could also be sweetened with a teaspoon of honey, as well. I will continue to drink it as-needed and highly recommend this product to anyone who would thinks they could benefit from a detox tea!

Don't buy it
This product smells plastic, I thought it stayed for so long on the plastic wrap, unfortunately, you can return it, as it is harmful to the body,I tried to make one whole cup smell and taste plastic.Don't buy it

Pleasing taste. I hope it will detox faster than I retox!
I sat down and brewed a cup of this as soon as the Amazon driver left it on the porch. I could almost feel the detox effects just from reading the box. Okay. I know that's not really true. But I was in the right frame of mind to enjoy this tea.The tea has a mild, pleasant taste. To me, it seemed calming and relaxing. That could have been as much from my meditative frame of mind as from the tea itself, but that's okay with me. I did not notice any caffeinating effects, which is good, because this tea doesn't contain any caffeine!I noticed that it had warnings on the box about not drinking it more often than once per day and not more than 7 days in a row. I plan to heed those warnings. The ingredients seem pretty natural, but there is concern about using senna leaf and licorice root for too many days in a row.If I just want to chill, I think brewing a cup of this tea is probably a good alternative to grabbing a beer, and I suspect my body will thank me for making that choice sometimes.
