Love the photos in this book and the use of color in the garden. Very inspiring and a lot of useful information. The writing was entertaining and exuded enthusiasm for all kinds of plants. I got this book from the library first and loved it so much I decided I wanted my own copy.

Lots of beautiful color combinations, and flower suggestions to choose from. While I don't have a green house to start my own seeds, and plants, this still will give me my color/plant suggestions. I plan to use this to re-design some of my garden spaces for next year.

There are color collections shown and summaries of each of them. What I really liked was the authors own specialcollection and he tells about how to grow each from various methods, how to tend to them and keep them through the cold months.So much to learn from this book, excellent resource book to keep on hand.Received this review copy via Timber Press via Netgalley and this is my honest opinion.

Fantastic book, excellent info and beautiful bright colors. Well worth the price

Beautiful、well written hard back book for gardeners or flower lovers wanting to create incredible color combinations. The author shares his passion for flowers and gives the reader a full dictionary of color photos for plants to use for each of his themed combinations. Really useful as he covers everything.

I was recently bought The Flower-Powered Garden as a gift & I love this book !Not being an overly accomplished gardener but enjoying gardening I found it perfect to steer me though the many options open to me.What was great was the straight forward way the book is set out - you can go for a colour scheme or individual plants - what works best in beds, pots etc - it really took the guesswork out of gardening for me.Lots of colourful photos too to help make the planning even easier.Highly recommended !
