This heavy-duty casement adjuster is constructed from solid, cast iron. The handle is approximately 3/16" thick - well suited to large or heavy windows. It includes two sill mounted keepers and holes for five opening positions. Rustic simplicity
These cast iron stays were perfect for our shed windows, which swing out from the side. They were originally fixed windows so we added hinges, these stays and a knob. By using different holes in the stays we can prop the window open to varying amounts. When the window is shut, 2 holes in the stay are pushed down over 2 of the pegs, which holds it securely. We like the old-fashioned operation and look!

Love these
Great quality. Super easy to install. The flathead screws are a bit of a pain, but they are true to the antique look. Will have to see how they hold up to weather over time. We installed these on the second floor of our home and decided to assemble everything ahead if time and then attach as one piece. Mostly due to the flat head screws. We did use masonry screws to attach to the house as the screws it comes with are not made for this.

I used my two sets to adjust the angle on my homemade solar water heater. They work well but could be a little stronger.
