I've played w/so many paddles I lost count. 'The Bet' reminds me of the DBD, but is more controllable. I don't think there's a better <$100 paddle on the market. I liked mine so much I got a 2nd paddle as a spare/back-up/loaner. While the price point makes you think 'beginner paddle', I'm ~3.5-4.0 level player (on a good day) & this paddle performs as well or better than most of the 'advanced' paddles I've tried. If you're ready to step up from your 'cheap Amazon' No-Name Paddle I highly recommend you give 'The Bet' a try...
