Just ok, probably need several sets
My son records a weekly podcast. His room is next to my daughter's and when he records, he faces the wall that is between their two rooms. I mounted these panels on the wall so he would be speaking into them while he recorded. Unfortunately, they weren't very effective for my purpose. I probably need to have more of them around the whole room. I'm not sure I want to do that. I was hoping having one set on the wall would help. The panels seem well made and the material is dense.

Pricey but stylish
These are very nice tiles, both to look at and to work with. They are denser and thinner than traditional fiberglass acoustic ceiling tiles. I got these to replace some damaged tiles in our family room. The angled shape /\/\/\ is claimed to help disperse sound and soften reflections. I only got a few for testing, so I can't tell how well it actually works, but the shape is unique and stylish. These are thinner than the fiberglass panels I was replacing and thus were able to more easily squeeze into tight spaces where heating pipes got in the way. The "BUBOS Acoustic Panels" also feel more sturdy than fiberglass panels and are easier to cut to create a nice fit around vent openings. When we bought our house one of the things I remember thinking is how ugly the ceiling tiles were, and wondering if I could paint them. If we ever sell I would definitely consider replacing the rest of the fiberglass panels with the "BUBOS Acoustic Panels".A quick search on the internet shows these to be 2 to 3 times as expensive as some other options, but I really like the looks and quality.Recommended

Adhesion isn't the best but it muffled down some echos
The adhesion didn't work for my walls but I used some other type of glue and it worked. I can say that adding 3 panels reduced the echo I was having while I was on conference calls. The vibrations are definitely muffled and muted and I think having one more set will set me up perfectly.

Good product from a trustworthy brand
I ordered these because I liked the idea of larger sheets of acoustic panels. I've purchased multiple products from Bubos -- art panels and hexagonal acoustic panels. Bubos is a brand I trust for a quality product. These sheets did not disappoint.I placed these sheets on the ceiling in my office over my desk. They've helped warm up the acoustics while on video calls by reducing the amount of reverberation in my 10' x 12' converted bedroom office space. I've combined these with other acoustic products on my walls (diffusers and a few 2" panels). Together, they've really warmed up the space without deadening the sound too much.I put these up with T-pins. I pushed the T-pins are various angles just as extra an extra precaution to keep these from falling but so far they're holding up great. No sagging of the panels and the T-pins are holding tight. As long as you don't expect these panels to do something they can't do, you'll be happy. These WILL NOT soundproof a room. Soundproofing is completely different than sound dampening. These are quite effective at dampening the sound waves that bounce around inside a room.

So far, decent but needs some changes to be higher starred
Three stars seems about right. Luckily I wasn't expecting any special fixative for this, but that was due to the reviews and not the sales page. Currently they're resting near speakers. I live with someone who loves blaring their TV and surround sound. Since two of these have been put in their TV room, things have been quieter, but it could just be that they haven't been watching action movies that cause a lot of booms and echoes that reverberate through the house. I will update if these turn out to be better or worse than three stars. In order for these to otherwise go up a star or two, they would have to be cheaper than $90, thicker, and/or have good fixative for walls. $30 per panel seems high for what these are.Honestly I'm kind of expecting them to go down to two stars but I need more time to test them. So far they're decent enough.
