I had to order this item three times because it would always arrive damaged, but the third time was a charm. The item is heavy and feels like true marble. It also is completely sealed to prevent house flies.

This thing is thick, sturdy, and heavy. Perfect for our organic honeys to sit on the counter. All my girlfriends wanted it. Highly Recommended!!!

Radicaln makes beautiful and practical marble vessels. We have their butter dish, too. Now we have a lovely set that we use daily, and for special gatherings. They receive a lot of compliments.This honey jar and dipper is very well made, with astute attention to detailing. The outside finish is as smooth as silk, even under the lip and between the groves. Heavy as the marble dipper may be, it's weighted properly for your hand, and the knob is easy to hold. I love the unexpected color variation in the natural marble. The pieces I received are a creamy white and grey, with cloud-like instances of mocha tan.I highly recommend this honey jar.

I've wanted something just like this for my honey for years and now I've got it! I'm so excited at how beautiful the marble is because sometimes when you buy marble it's not unique. You don't get plain old completely white marble. Mine has a small black mark through it and I love it! It's exactly what I hoped it would be! Everything fits perfectly into itself, looking very stylish! If your in the market for a new honey holder then don't hesitate to order this!

This does just what it says. It stores your honey for use, and the dripper top is a convenient, no mess way to apply your honey to your food, coffee, yogurt, whatever.This arrived very carefully packed with lots of taping on the boxes, tape on the Styrofoam inner packing, and bubble wrap on the inside. There is a card with it that says it's only warrantied for 30 days due to the fragile nature of the marble. I could see where it might chip or crack if mishandled and bumped around, but it will mostly be sitting on the countertop and filled as needed. It has a really nice heft to it when you pick it up and it feels artisan. It doesn't feel like you could damage it easily.I would imagine if you had guests over for coffee or tea and were using this as part of the service, it would probably garner some compliments.I'm sure there are cheaper options out there to store and drip your honey, but overall, this seems like a quality piece that you'd be proud to display, use, and even hand down someday.

My main reason for getting this honey jar is the fact it is one of the few I have ever seen that does not have a large hole where the dipper goes that bugs can easily access to get inside. This is more functional in that you can leave it on the counter, and there is no hole period; the dipper is just on the underside of the lid. It is fairly heavy, so I would think bugs should not easily be able to slip under the lid. The whole piece looks great and will be decorative on a countertop. I agree with others it is a little much, but considering how frustrated I have been trying to find a honey jar over several years that did not have that hole, this was well worth it, and it will look good sitting out. Like others, I did not get one with a felt bottom, but I prefer it did not considering I want to wash this in dish water and I would not want to do that once there is a felt bottom on it. They do need to change that on their pictures though. In my opinion, this is a good value and a good item to have. The closest I have found with no hole was a mason jar one I found around the same time I saw this one, and that one still has a little bit of a hole and is not as pretty, so this is really the best option if you plan to keep the honey in it all the time to use in teas and all.

If you are looking for a beautiful and highly functional honey dipper, look no further than this amazing piece. Not only does it work perfectly, it is a very artistic display piece. I was very impressed with the size of both the jar and the dipper, but more than anything is the quality of the workmanship. Mine did not include the advertised felt bottom, but I am reaching out to the company to see if they can send it to me. If for any reason the customer service is lacking, I will adjust this review to reflect it. In the mean time, this is a 5+ star product.

This jar is extremely beautiful - it arrived with utmost care - perfectly encased with Styrofoam - tightly wrapped and securely taped and placed in its own box. That box was then put into a 2nd box so it is apparent the owners of the company took elevated precautions to ensure the jar arrives in perfect condition. The jar is perfect size for the counter - not too large and not too small.The jar is grey and white. I have all earth tones in my house. Had I not added silver in my tiled backsplash, the color would have clashed big time.The advertisement states that the jar comes with a felt pad on the bottom. Mine did not and I did not see a pad loose in the box either. The information on the authenticity card states that they jar is made with 'natural handmade marble'. That is an oxymoron; natural does not = handmade. It leaves me wondering if something is mixed into ground marble - my main concern is that the inside of the jar is not polished and I worry that any chemicals contained in the jar might leach out into the honey/jam placed in the jar. As a matter of fact, my jar actually had all kinds of powder inside of it which I thoroughly washed out of it. If you read about storing honey, the storage container must be air tight to prevent microbes from growing in it. So even though the lid is heavy, I am not sure just how air tight it would be to prevent microbes growing in it. Thus, despite it's beauty, I am not 100% it is safe (or wise) for honey/jam storage, which sort of deletes it's purpose.
