This is a nice companion if you play golf. Its a bit bigger than other gps golf speakers I have come across which has its pros and cons. To get the most out of this golf companion, the Golfbuddy app can be downloaded to use this as a rangefinder. I have to say, the golf buddy app could use some improvement, but it works well enough. The app has a variety of courses mapped on their app. If you are playing a course that is in its database, you can use it to track your game, distance etc. The speaker will link into that giving you verbal stats as you golf as well, but it also functions as a regular bluetooth speaker too. Despite its size, the magnet holds well to a cart or magnetic surface. I really like the clip on remote control it comes with. I can use this to control the speaker even if I'm not right next to it. This speaker also has a USB A port in case you need to use this as a power bank. Personally, its battery capacity isn't large enough to use it in this way on the regular, so I only would use it in a pinch. The unit charges via usb c and has LEDs to indicate battery life which I appreciated. Overall, this is a nice all in one Golf GPS/Bluetooth speaker, but the app could use some improvement.

I've taken this speaker golfing 3 times. Every time I set it up for the right course and nothing happens. Eventually we have to hit our tee off ball and then there's not much time to mess with it more. Haven't figured it out yet. The sound is great and it's very nicely made. Alot of cool features when I get figured out.

Finally got a chance to get this out on the course this weekend after using it only as a speaker for a while. It's a great speaker in its own right and projects sound in multiple directions. The magnet is very strong and wasn't worried at all that it might pop off riding in the cart.As for its golf-assist features, they're awesome. It displays the yardage on the front for where you've parked your cart and it's got a little clip on add-on that you can take with you if you have to walk to your ball and it'll tell you the yardage from there. Really awesome features. The app is intuitive and well designed. Vivid displays of every hole and shows yardage to different locations for approach. This will be in my bag for a long time.

My husband specifically requested this product for Father's Day; it has some cool features per the description. Easy to purchase and arrived within 2 days. However, trying to connect the app and device to his phone did not work. He tried multiple times; called the vendor and they said they never had this problem and to return the speaker. Maybe it was just a "dud" but my husband said he did see other reviews talking about the same issue.

This speaker was great, until it wasn't. Not sure why or what but I just haven't been able to figure out the issue. The screen itself is stuck with half numbers, numbers never change. The speaker also will no longer connect to phones that its previously connected too. Right now, it's pretty much an expensive paper weight.

This speaker is awesome. Provides the best of both worlds with a speaker with incredible sound, and accurate yardage on the golf course. The sound is really impressive for a speaker this size. I use it off the course as much as I do on the course. It is loud and has crisp sound. Impressive bass as well. Magnet is very struggle and will lock in place and you will not need to worry about it falling off during the round. Battery lasts two rounds of golf easily.The golf GPS is a great feature. The app is very easy to use and has a ton of impressive customization options. During my first few rounds I spot checked the yardages with my rangefinder and found that they were incredibly accurate. My only complaint would be that the constant running of a GPS does wear down your battery through the round but all phone based GPS apps do. After only a few rounds, I have been truly impressed with this speaker/GPS.

This speaker is designed to be used on the golf course. It is quite large and heavy, but the magnet is strong and secures it well to any metal. Most push carts use aluminum to which a magnet will not attach. However, it does hold well to a metal bar on a golf cart.The speaker is loud which is good for outside purposes. However, the sound quality is only average. I compared it to my Tribit speaker which is much smaller, lighter and cheaper. The Golf Buddy has stronger bass, but the Tribit has better overall sound quality. If you are looking for a speaker to use inside, you can get a better one for about $30.The distinguishing function of this speaker is the GPS system. It connects to the Golf Buddy app by Bluetooth. The app is free and has a lot of features found on expensive GPS systems. You can keep score as well as other statistics on the app. When connected by Bluetooth, the Golf Buddy speaker will tell you the distance to the middle of the green. A small device clips to your belt. With one push of a button you get the distance to the green without having to use a scope.I had some trouble connecting the speaker to the app by Bluetooth. However, once connected it works fine.

Easy to use and easily portable. Lightweight and sturdy. Item arrived very well packed, so excellent start, perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again 👍

This is a fantastic sounding Bluetooth speaker. Is designed for golfers to use but as a household speaker it has great sound quality. It shows the time on the front. This is going to be used in my office of welfare room as the sound is second to non. I would say it is extremely overpriced for what it is but fortunate to test and review this item.

During testing I found that the golf buddy was very accurate. Compared yard markers it was around a yard either way. It's accuracy is comparable to other golf buddy trackers. It's called voice which means it can vocalize your distances, but I prefer just using the yard readout display on the speaker itself. Additionally, well some people might listen to music while golfing. That isn't really a priority for me. I'm usually with friends and we just chat instead. Being able to use it as a speaker isn't a bad thing by any means. It's just not a major factor for me. My phone set up and configuration super easy. I didn't have any problems connecting it to the app. It's great that you don't have to sign up to any sort of subscription service, it all just kind of works. 30 recommended if you're looking for a good golf distance tracker. The speaker is an added bonus.
