It is hard to open while opening it it does tend to cut the skin but other then that my quails love it and so do I! I will definitely order more when I can.

Bought this for my 4 chicks. Well made and served its purpose. My chicks are no longer chicks and are quite large pullets now, they easily dump it over with their suze but I’d recommend this for the little chickies.

I bought 2 of these for a backyard quail set up. The quality is fine, but after using for a few months my quail are bigger now & I have to fill these things multiple times a day to keep up with demand. This isn't the easiest design to fill either. The holes are fairly small - which prevents quail from tossing the feed out, but makes it a chore to fill.If you have enough feed you can dip the contraption under the feed to fill them - which is better than using a cup to pour into the holes. But again I'd need one of these for every 3 quail to last a day I think.I don't have any issues with the quality and I'd buy a Miller product in a heartbeat, but I'm looking for a different design. If you are hatching quail, you might use these for chicks - but I think I'd want the one with the jar on top if I chose again. It does help prevent them from scratching the food out & spreads them out while they eat.Depending on your setup, your results may vary.

Solid option for chicks. This is built well and holds up to my hungry chicks climbing and pecking. Can clean in dishwasher as well. Cover is difficult to get off though so for best success in getting the 2 halves apart, hook a finger through two of the holes in the top and push down with another finger on the same hand. My husband has this down to a science. It won't be too long before you need a larger feeder but you will need to clean whatever you get at least daily so this was a perfect size for the first month for my small flock of chicks of 14 total.

Ordered this for convienience and cut myself really bad trying to open threw it in the garbage because I didn’t want my ducks cutting themselves

My partner cut his finger trying to remove the difficult-to-take-off lid. The chicks love it and it works great but it’s a safety hazard!

Purchased to use when feeding and watering my new baby ducklings so they could not play in their food and water. Ducks can be messy. This was just perfect for keeping them well hydrated but preventing their crate from becoming wet and smelly all day long.

Don't waste your money.

These one were perfect for mosquito coils - painted the sides and they look nice outside on my deck.

Mit diesem Feeder ist es sehr einfach, die Vögel in unserem Garten oder auf dem Balkon zu füttern. Man kann ohne Probleme Futter einfüllen und sämtliche Vögel kommen gut damit klar. Vom Material her ist es unzerstörbar. Ich habe gleich drei davon gekauft und kann jetzt überall ums Haus herum Futterstellen einrichten. Super!
