This book really hit the sweet spot for me. Pure 80s nostalgia. I liked the continuing story line and relationship with the black cat. The black cat is one of my favorites and this was really enjoyable, and the showdown with kingpin and hobgoblin was fantastic. Also The return of Mary Jane, and I oddly enjoyed all of Peter’s personal problems. This book was a great jumping in point too.

Yeah it's missing a page/panels and that is definite buzzkill, however I bought this as a special buy 2 get 1 half off. So I bought the original X-Factor omnibus with it. Each omnibus MSRP is $125. So it would be total $250 but with both books already discounted to about $85-$90 and the 50% off on one book I got both for around $125 or so. So I got the X-Factor book for around $118 and this book for FREE so I have 0 complaints. I also own all the original issues. This is a fantastic way to read the whole story!

Misprint by Marvel. Don’t buy unless you don’t care about issue 258

The entire print run has a missing/double printed page. Marvel has confirmed it is on the entire print run and they have zero plans to reprint it, instead they have a downloadable pdf for the missing page. This is complete dissrespect of their customers

Yes, there is a missing page, and at this price point, that might be a deal-breaker for some. However, contrary to one review mentioning "missing issues," I haven't noticed any. If you can overlook the misprint, this collection offers a fantastic compilation of classic Spider-Man stories by top creators of the era. A nice touch is that the covers under the dust jacket replicate those of the first and second TPB editions of the Saga of the Alien Costume. If you're willing to forgive the minor flaw, this is an excellent run for any Spider-Man fan.

I havent bought this omni yet however thanks to online research I learnt its missing an entire page from ASM 258 and sometimes the entire issue plus some marvel team-up pages as well. This problem seems to be in all the prints so it's certainly a mistake by the publisher.

First of all, it was at a knock down price on Amazon, and you can’t fault that! Second of all it’s absolutely classic Spidey action and mayhem, with added Black Cat AND that soon to be villain of all villains - the symbiote suit. I love love LOVED IT, OH AND ITS HUGE!
