Speakers met my expectations! Speakers have a very nice look. They do not come with speaker grilles but look very nice naked. Very easy to setup and recommend placing speakers a 3-4 ft apart. Will maybe look into speaker stands in the future. Speakers are loud and have real clarity in the highs not too much bass but provide a punch when needed. I found they sound better when listening at medium and higher volumes. I use them primarily with my Pro-ject Debut Evo 2 turntable. I have noticed that I have had to restart speakers after activating Bluetooth mode with my phone. I hear a low thumping noise that will clear up after restarting phonobox and speakers. I bought the desktop speaker stands that help reduce vibration. Speakers are heavy and have a quality feel. The remote included is heavy duty and the mute function is a useful feature. Overall, I’m very happy with the sound!

I put these in my office at work to crank music. They have good sound quality. Don't get any vibration from cabinets which I think helps. I wish my office walls were better insulated.

These speakers sound terrific. And the bamboo speaker cabinets (if you pay for them) are lovely. The bluetooth "wireless" option is waste of money, however. Why? Because even with bluetooth, you still have to wire the two speakers together with a long audio cable. So, this is not like a Sonos system, where you just plug the speaker into a wall outlet and connect to your computer via WiFi. This is a wired system, where Bluetooth eliminates exactly one wire: the audio cable from your computer to your speakers. Not a big convenience. Also, having experimented with both the Bluetooth and the audio cable, I will also say that Bluetooth sounds worse -- the audio quality is slightly degraded. So, **definitely buy the speakers.** But don't waste your money on the Bluetooth "wireless" model.

These speakers have improved my life tremendously. I have them on the floor in my living room and they fill the space with sound, even during parties. So happy I got them.

These are great speakers at a great value. I already had a lot of quality audio equipment that is connected with a Sonos system, but I was looking to add a simple system that could be used in my bedroom or office. My criteria was for something wireless (to avoid clutter), powered (so I didn’t need a separate amplifier) with high quality sound in a small package. The Audioengine A5+ Wireless Bookshelf Speakers definitely fit the bill. Packaging – the speakers arrived very well packed in a double box (plus the Amazon shipping box). The speakers, remote, and wiring were each in their own micro-fiber draw bag. Right away I could tell that this company cares about their products. Remote – the Amazon listing did not include a photo of the remote at the time of purchase, so finding the remote was a great surprise. The remote control is milled from a solid piece of aluminum. It has a good weight to it and screams quality. The button assembly can be removed to easily change the battery – super cool! Bluetooth – these speakers are powered and operate via Bluetooth, so you can stream music from your phone or computer. I was able to connect with my phone from more than 50 feet away without problems. Wire clutter is reduced because the speakers are powered (no amplifier or additional cables). The only wires are the cable to supply power to one speaker, and the high-quality speaker cable (with gold plated banana plugs!) that both come included. Sound Quality – these speakers are great. My initial set up was in my kitchen which is open to the living and dining rooms. The speakers had no problem projecting high quality audio throughout the space without sounding weak or muddy. Next, I moved them to my office (around 10’ x 20’) and the quality was awesome, exactly what I was looking for. I sometimes take a break from work and play an acoustic guitar to music, and the speakers were easily able to keep up without getting anywhere near max volume. Overall an A+ !

Good, lacks bass though, and what is this stuff on the back?.. It’s like colored and stuff idk if that’s stuff deteriorating and i bought this brand new..

So I'm not really an audiophile, so you should read other reviews for sound quality. However, I don't think my use case is all that uncommon and these are a great solution, so I wanted to share. I have two laptops on my desk -- my work laptop (Macbook Pro / M1 Pro) and my personal laptop (Macbook Air / M1). I also have an Echo Dot nearby. I want to be able to play great-sounding audio from any or all of these sources at the same time. I'm often working while listening to music or watching a video on my personal laptop. Then I have to watch a video or have a video conference on my work laptop. I also often lie on the bed and listen to music through my Echo Dot, or sometimes my phone. So I wanted a powered speaker that could take 3 audio sources at the same time, play from any or all of them, without needing a mixer. The Audioengine A5+wireless is fitting this perfectly. I use wired connections for the laptops, and a bluetooth connection for the Echo. The speakers sound great no matter which sources are playing, and the speakers even mix the bluetooth with the wired playback! It's a solution I've been looking for, for a long, long time. Also, the bluetooth connection sounds better than any bluetooth speakers I've tried, and the pairing works quickly and solidly. So if this is something you need, this is a great solution!

Sounds fantastic, even with my less than optimal placement. With very limited space I have my A5+ Speakers setup inside a small alcove above my fireplace approximately 2 feet apart from each other. They sit on some foam speaker mats to reduce vibration. The speakers sound absolutely fantastic. I have them paired to a Rega Planar 1+ turntable and the sound quality is the best I’ve ever heard. They also sound amazing through the Bluetooth which works very well. I would recommend these to anyone who wants great sound at a reasonable price. Especially if you’re limited on space.

A5+ et S8 l’investissement ultime 2.1 pour mon setup ! Le son est incroyable, précis (je redécouvre certains morceaux), puissant et couvre un spectre très large de fréquences. Quel pied de jouer en HDR avec un son percutant ! Le seul bémol, le bouton de volume un peu « ship » qui manque de précision. La télécommande est quant à elle bien finie et précise.

These speakers are BANGING! Had them for three years now and have not had any issues. They sound amazing and very full for not being paired with a subwoofer. The majority of my music is Classic rock and metal, and it matters a lot to me that the sound doesn't get muddy or all swamped together in such distortion heavy music, and these have left me very satisfied.
