Walking shoes from OrthoComfoot with special insoles for pain relief
This is a review of "OrthoComfoot Comfortable Mens Walking Shoes for Plantar Fasciitis, Orthopedic Genuine Leather Oxford with Arch Support, Driving Diabetic Loafers for Foot and Heel Pain Relief”[As a vine reviewer, I am pledging not to be compensated or influenced by the vendor; I state my opinions based on my personal experience without any bias or pressure]These are formal shoes (we ordered the black shoe size 12/ European size 46). My main foot problems are with Plantar fasciitis and swollen feet. This shoe seems to solve the problem of needing a formal pair at work that is also comfortable to walk. As a large male (220lb, regularly size 12), this pair fit me well. The Shoe is well designed and modular with its three parts:A. This shoe has heels made from rubber but two stress points, the bottom and middle are reinforced such that they offer some extra cushioning. The heel is made from rubber and although it is reasonably sturdy. B. An insole custom cushion ( removable) for a variety of foot ailments. This is the main selling point. This cushion is high quality and can cost almost twenty dollars if sold separately. This helped me with my heel comfort.C. An extra pair of insoles that are more for normal use (not as cushioned as 2 above)My experience with the shoe:1. Comfort: Actually quite good. The shoe is quite "stretchy" and I did not see the bend marks appear immediately. The cushioning and the insoles gave a comfortable walk for several days.2. Build quality - Reasonably good; The upper is made from leather. The heel is made with rubber with stress points reinforced.3. Wear and tear: moderate ; I did not see an immediate effect after a few days of use4. Sizing - pretty good. The shoe did not pinch me. So order the exact size you wear and it should fit well. In my case the size 12 for this shoe was the same dimension I use normally.5. Price - a bit high but can be justified since you get everything needed in one place.I think this shoe can act as your second pair of shoes for some light duty. Because this is a lighter shoe, I would not advise using this pair for heavy winter use. I think for the price, this is a reasonable compromise and four stars are deserved.

Thick socks needed for a near fit; arch supports too high for me
At my age, I prefer to have slip on shoes that are comfortable yet look nice and provide decent support for my feet. When I saw this pair, it seemed to have the features I desired, especially since I have mild plantar fasciitis.Since shoe sizes vary by manufacturer, I was careful to measure my foot exactly to order the correct size. I normally wear size 11 shoes, but based on the sizing chart I ordered a size 10.Gosh, these shoes are huge - my feet are swimming in them even though I ordered the "correct" size. The only way I can keep them on is to wear really thick winter socks or two pairs of regular socks. It's a shame because the shoes really look nice and seem to be well constructed.Regarding the arch supports that are offered: The shoes come with two different sets of insoles with varying degrees of arch supports. If you have a high arch, these shoes may appeal to you. However, my arch is a bit low, and even the smallest arch support insole proved too high for my comfort. If I am to keep these shoes, I'll have to find another insole that doesn't have any, or at least a very low, arch support. I know if I get the next size smaller, they'll be too small. Alas.

Comfortable Men’s shoes – loose fitting
Review for: OrthoComfoot Comfortable Mens Walking Shoes for Plantar Fasciitis, Orthopedic Genuine Leather Oxford with Arch Support, Driving Diabetic Loafers for Foot and Heel Pain Relief – size 10 blackThese shoes look good and feel comfortable with good support. They feel loose around my foot top and sides, and I was wearing thick socks. Not sure if they are leather there is no tag to indicate that they are, the leather like material is soft. I like that they came with a 2nd set of insoles, they appear to be different than the ones inside.Overall 4.1 stars taking into consideration the products description, quality, features, value and cost currently at 119.99, and there was a discount that further brought the price down when I picked these up. They seem a bit pricey and fit loose.
