RECHERE 20mm Alligator Grain Leather Watch Band Strap Push Button Deployment Clasp Contrast Stitch Color Black

This band is a perfectly attractive leather band and I liked the concept of a leather band with the pushbutton release instead of the buckle. My problem is that the pushbutton release is WAY too easy to depress on accident. I like to wear my watch loose enough that it slides all the way down until it covers my wrist and rests against the start of my hand. However, in this position I am able to accidentally depress both sides of the release with the skin of my forearm and the bottom of the palm of my hand. It turns out I bend my wrist and curl my hand towards my elbow quite often because this thing has come undone at least 10 times this afternoon. I've since had to make an effort to wear the watch about 1 1/2 inches up my forearm where it's slightly narrower than my wrist and tighten the band by 1 notch to prevent the watch from sliding down to where I would really prefer it to be until I can go out and buy a traditional buckle style leather band.If you're in the habit of wearing your watch higher on your wrist then this might work perfectly for you. For me, however, it's nearly useless.

I bought one in black and one in brown, and use them both on two of my watches. I have had them for almost two years and they are great. Especially when you consider how cheap these are. The clasp looks elegant and I have never had a problem with either. I did see someone else write that it pinched. It only pinches if you don't have it fit just right. If it pinches you have it way too tight. I felt the same thing... I let it out one notch and it fits perfectly. This is the same with both straps.

the product was made with good quality materials and craftmanship, i would love it if the size were 1.5" longer.

It looks classy with the white stitch which draws attention and it is quality made.

I bought this for the deployment clasp. The buckle is 18mm. 18mm was what I needed on my 20mm leather band. I didn't know for sure, but I thought I'd take a chance. I lucked out. Works well, seems sturdy, and I'd buy this again.
