Replaced OEM lock with this new chrome one
The original was white on the 2005 Forest River Wildcat fifthwheel and it failed during a trip. All we had for a lock while gone with the handle lock as the deadbolt would not operate with key but did when we were inside at night. The new chrome one does stand out and was an easy install. Did take some minor modification to slide easily with the new key but not a bid deal. We'll keep rollin' onward and upward.

The inside handle showed crome in advertising but the one i revived was black o well didnt want the hassle of sending back. It seems to work good for now...

Easy to please
Honestly this is a quality piece but I feel I got a second or blem”. After I got it installed I noticed the housing wasn’t flat and wouldn’t seal tight to the door. Since I didn’t have time to take it off, send it back, get another possibility defective one while leaving my trailer unlocked longer I am just going to live with it. It’s a 15 year old trailer that’s not perfect any longer or I may have not been so easy to please.

Not what it appears to be. Need the handle quickly, not worth returning.
I specifically chose this particular seller because it showed two keys in the picture. I assumed that the deadbolt and latch would use the same key. I was wrong. Another seller had an all chrome handle showing four keys with a separate key for latch and another for the deadbolt. The other seller even explained the handle used two separate keys. I would have preferred an all chrome handle but did not want to deal with two separate keys for the same door. So I ordered from this seller. 1) The handle showed up with separate keys for the latch and deadbolt, just what I didn't want. 2) The deadbolt and linkage had fallen out of the handle and had to be modified to stay in place and work properly. 3) The handle was chrome outside and painted black inside. I would have preferred the all chrome handle. I don't have time to re-order so I am stuck with a misrepresented handle!
