What should I do the first time I use it?

Then, open your phone and select Bluetooth connection, my CarPaly adapter Bluetooth's name is Z3 BOX-3699, Maybe your name is different from mine, but we have to do the same，just click on allow operation. If you want to watch Netflix, just click on the car brand icon and connect to WiFi. Since I was outdoors, I could only connect to my hotspot, but it's even better if you have a U-disk, you can download the video in advance and enter the media to find the downloaded file without having to worry about the internet speed anymore. All in all, this product is worth it!

What if your car has apple carplay, but not samsung auto... and you have a samsung.. ?

When your car is connected to the Magic Box, directly click CarPlay to enter, after the appearance of the UI interface, and then select Android auto to enter the connection of Bluetooth (Apple phones choose CarPlay)

Does this magic box 2.0 works with the magic box 2.0 remote ?

Not likely since this isn't a magic box brand device. Read the fine print at some other brand you won't have access to Google Play store and it's very limited.

why is there no sound when I am casting?

Everything works fine when I cast the screen, please check if your phone volume or projection device volume is turned on, if it still doesn't work, I recommend you to take a video and ask the seller, they have a great service!

I really just wanted to watch YouTube or anime on my truck's screen while I eat lunch, but this device does not adequately provide that. I do not recommend buying this device. YouTube worked for about 6 months, Disney plus never worked but Netflix worked consistently. Up until it was time to update software box just gave out and never booted up again. Downloaded full update and went to install after that box went dead. Never booted up since

unit sometimes connect to phone right away, other times it would take several minutes, and other times it would not connect at all. Had to unpair and pair again with blue tooth to make it work. Voice recognition does not work anywhere near as good as when phone is connected with usb cable and voice commands don't work either for making calls/texts (have to manually select phone on screen then push voice command button). to use streaming video you have to disconnect wifi and turn on hotspot on phone, and then have to reverse to go back to carplay so was not seamless at all. extremely disappointed in difficulty of use. Also, some apps on phone don't allow video casting so the only video that could be streamed was the apps that came with it (netflix and disney).
