There are no distinctly "hard" elements to this case. But so far, the build quality seems legit. Kind of a plasticy vylin feel to the exterior with a mesh 2nd layer inside. Almost like a weatherproof jacket or a rain coat but not super thin. Every surface has a medium thin foam padding sewn into it except for the "extender" portion which is just that raincoat material and a mesh fabric layer on the inside. The zippers are decent quality. Not super rugged but definitely not cheap, either. 17in tall, 12in wide. Fully extending the bag depth, the bag is about 12in deep. I was able to fit my hard case for my Osmo Pocket inside the extended backpack area and zip that up so it sits in its own kinda compartment. I also fit a laptop softcase thats 16x15x3in inside the back area. The drone and remote fit as expected and there is an extra zippered area that sits "on top" of the drone area where I could put other accessories like lense filters and chargers. The "top" portion is a stiff plastic but it is not a hard mold. Just kind of a thicker semi-hard shape that will bend or pop in/out of shape if pushed hard enough. I feel safe putting less fragile things in this area.The drone area itself is good rubbery foam on 3 sides and a plastic lid that fastenes with velcro. That cover, plus the shaped plasticy cover seem like a good combo and could stand being dropped. Not that Im going to test that or anything. Its not going to be as safe as a hard case but thats the thing... this is way easier to carrry. Its a safe trade-off in my opinion.Every compartment has its own zippered mesh cover or a velcro strap to hold things still. That part was very well thought out.I will use this for a while and report back if anything falls apart. So far the stitching and the zippers seem to be punching above their weight as far as cost ($50 at the time of my purchase). This is still a "soft" case so be concious of how you stow and carry everything. But overall its much more convenient than having several medium sized hard cases to carry on site.

This pack is exactly what I was looking for. It fits the DJI Mini 4 Pro drone, controller and battery charger perfectly. There is plenty of storage room for laptop or tablet plus paperwork and logs. The hard case that protects the equipment appears to be enough to protect it from small drops. The pack is large enough to hold all of my needs and small enough to stow away and not take a lot of room. Construction is very good. Stitching is good with good zippers that provide some measure water resistance.

The media could not be loaded. Best drone backpack on the market for DJI MINI 4 PRO. Only remove both remote control foam peices if you have an rc2 remote control. Leave the outer layer foam peice in the bag if you have the smaller remote control (RC-N2) so it will not move around. I watched someone leave a video review about this bag that removed both inner, and outer foam peices and it showed his RC-N2 (smaller remote control) was too loose inside the remote control area of the bag. Only remove both foam peices for rc2 remotes, or remote controls of the same size. This bag is very well made, and definitely worth every penny. I love this drone bag. It also has a bigger pocket for a few waters that are separated from your drone. Fits the dji mini pro 4 perfectly.

Nice backpack. Its small but also expands. It carries just about everything you would need for a small mission. Even used it as a personal item while traveling and removed the drone part. I like the hard case face.

Perfect fit and storage . Only problem is front chest strap is not wide enough for most . Looking for a remedy for that .

Overall its ok, it does fit the drone. Though not as good as I had hoped, The thin "hard" shell isn't very hard. Thankfully it does add some slight cushion to the above the drone. However this limits what you can store in the front. Anything hard and you risk it bumping your drone as it doesn't seat fully into the foam. The rest of the storage area is ok, but the mesh lining the separates the laptop area and the backpack seems flimsy and likely to tear at some point. There isn't much room at all in the bag unless you expand the compartment then it just fits the case I have for the goggles 3 and motion 3 along with some other essentials. The charging port seems pointless, wouldve been nice if they included some wires that allowed you to charge the drone, batteries and controller but alas it does not. Simply a wire that runs into the back area of the bag... where none of your drone components are likely to be. The zipper sticks on the drone area, likely to lead to some issues down the road. The material seems kind like cheap vinyl so I doubt it will last too long. Time will tell.Otherwise it does what I need and does store all my drone parts, cables etc... I use this daily for transporting my DJI Mini 4 Pro, controller, extra batteries and more. Well constructed, so I imagine it will last for years to come.

Purchased this for a recent trip to Hawaii. Holds all components of the DJI Mini 4 Pro Fly More Combo Plus pack in the front with great protection. I was able to keep my landing pad as well as Nintendo Switch, and iPad Pro in the backpack as well. While trekking around the Island of Maui, I also had my DJI neo and Goggles N3 and Motion controller in the backpack as well but in place of the Nintendo Switch. It goes to say that although compact, this backpack holds it all!
