Fast heating up to 1200 degrees, accurate digital display, and great attachements.
I really like this one where I don't have to add butane and being all electric, I feel safer too. Heats up fast, can get red hot up to 1200 degrees, where I don't use it that hot, however, I know will get there. I mostly use at around 400 degree for heavy duty heat shrink for outdoor cables, and it works fantastic for that. Heat distributes well, good safety handle to where the hand never feels the heat, and very comfortable to hold. No cons at all, where I am very happy with the purchase.

What good is a 600 hour heating element when the fan stops blowing after 11 days?!
This is my first Tacklife product and I am not impressed. When it did work, I was pretty satisfied. Now, however, the only thing that works is the lcd display. Nothing else.Update: I contacted Tacklife and they asked me to send a short video of the issue. They immediately sent out a replacement. The replacement heat gun lasted less than 2 weeks before the same exact issue as the original occurred. I contacted them again and they gave me a full refund.

It's good.
It's definitely a decent heat gun for $50 but, it doesn't come close to hitting 1200 degrees. Except for the first level that is 120 degrees anything beyond 300 is inaccurate. At 300 it is around 180-220 and at 600 it's around 400. At max temp the supposed 1200 it puts out around 850-930 depending on what fanspeed is chosen. That's still plenty hot but it has no chance of hitting 1200.

Powerful and versatile....
I do a lot of fixing around the house, and I have found a heat gun super useful for far more jobs than I had realized:Some of the uses I have found to be: removing old vinyl tile, heating up hot melt glue, loosening a plastic threshold weatherstrip, softening hoses for splicing, melting beeswax for making wraps, forcing syrup through a strainer, etc. etc...Prior to the Tacklife I had a Chicago Electric (yes, Harbor Fright) 1500 dual speed heat gun, and while it lasted for about 10 years, I secretly wished it would die so I could get a better heatgun. This has a TON of features, looking around, I can't find one that does more - in particular this has custom heat and fan settings with memory so you can set several different temps and recall them for different jobs. It's astounding how much heat this puts out compared to the Chicago Electric. Several times I nearly burned myself just with the air coming off - this was at one of the lower temperature settings.Nice solid feel, heat resistant cord, fairly ergonomic, though it's not a small unit.

Easy to use and wide range of temperatures
I use this heat gun in an unconventional way, to roast coffee beans. I wanted a heat gun where I could easily change temperatures from 300f up to 800f without having to move the gun closer and farther from the beans. This gun does exactly what I needed it to do and I am able to get some great roasts. It is worth noting though that the temp is says on the display is not the temp at the tip of the nozzle. I measured about a 150f degree difference from the display to about quarter inch from the tip. Just take this into account if you need a very specific temperature.

Fixed my loose glasses
I set the temperature to 400 F and bent the middle of my glasses. Finally, I can have my glasses fit perfectly. My old wagner heat gun only has two temperature settings, even the low setting is to high for this job. Only hope it will last as long as the wager one does, which still works since the day I owned it five years ago.One thing the gun needs to improve. As you see, I used the cone attachment from the Wagner heat gun. It fits a little loose but works. Why the gun does not come with a smaller cone attachment to focus on a small area. The cone attachment included is too big.

Model Airplane Covering shrinking easy and safe now.
I am completely delighted with how nicely (and safely) this heat gun shrinks model airplane covering. I have set the temperature on mine to 320 degrees which I believe is giving me about 250 degrees on the covering. In just a minute of application the covering is tight and wrinkle free. I have never been able to do this with any other head gun without burning a hole in the covering. I have ordered a digital thermometer to really dial in the temperature. But I am a really happy guy now that my planes will be wrinkle free.

Barely heats up!
Just stay away from this heat gun. It barely heats up even while on the highest setting.I needed it to help remove window tint from my front windows and I would literally hold the thing less than an inch away from the tint to heat up the glue to make it much easier to remove and this heat gun did literally NOTHING.Just either pay the extra money for a better one or if you can get away with one of the generic dual-speed one's I would go with that
