It has been prized for its medicinal properties for thousands of years due to its cinnamaldehyde content. Ceylon cinnamon is a purer form and has more potent properties. This rich brown powder has a characteristic aromatic taste and comes all the way from Sri Lanka where the cinnamon tree grows. Cinnamon powder is high in vitamin K, calcium, iron and manganese. Calcium: It is a common myth that we need to eat dairy to get an adequate calcium intake and many plant based foods boast high levels of it. Calcium is needed for the normal maintenance of bones and teeth, digestive enzyme function, energy-yielding metabolism, blood clotting, muscle function and neurotransmission in the body. Manganese: This vital nutrient contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, formation of connective tissue and the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Very poor
I hate giving negative reviews but this really deserves one. I use a lot of cinnamon so I do know when it’s not right, and this is not right. It has a very vague aroma that is nothing like cinnamon and the taste is not like any cinnamon I have had before. I don’t know how it has so many good reviews because this is not good.

I rarely review anything, but feel that I should warn others. I’ve had the 250g packs lots of times and i have been so impressed as to order 1kg. It has always been really good. However, this is odourless and tastes like dust. This is not a new purchase. I *know* how it should taste.Seller refused to replace unless i return unopened. How exactly can I taste it, then return unopened?Didn't want a refund, just a replacement. Seller told me they had tested the batch and know it is not defective. It might not have been when packaged, but it is now. Instead of accepting reality, they’ve chosen to say I’m lying. I can return 995g of cinnamon bought 3 weeks ago and PROVE it. This is how they treat repeat customers. Paypal will refund anyway, so FF seem to just want to be obstructive. Will not use FF again. Truly dismal customer service. I hope that my experience helps you to make a better purchasing decision.
I really wanted to like this , was ready to switch from my regular 1K almond butter which I use in healthy smoothies and on oatcakes for snacks.But I am SO disappointed. The consistency is strange, finely granular. it is very sticky in the mouth, sticks to the teeth and upper palate. I wonder what can have changed in the production as other reviewers seem to rave about it. I have stirred it thoroughly but it is still runny, and too thin to use as a spread on oatcakes. I have just made a smoothie and it’s quite nice, but the slight graininess is still there, and it hasn’t the richness of my regular almond butter. What a shame. I will be returning to my regular buy.

Fantastic cinnamon, very fragrant
This cinnamon is genuine Ceylon. It is only recently I found that if consuming large quantities of cinnamon, it is better to use Ceylon.So glad I did, as true Ceylon is more fragrant, making every cup of coffee or a cake so much better.Recommended!

Great health and cooking product
Ceylon cinnamon is much better for the body, and this organic product has a lovely smell and works well in all dishes I use it in. I prefer products than are organic as least chemicals are used. Cinnamon has been said to help reduce body weight by suppressing the appetite used with lemon and honey. I also use it this way but not too lose weight but a refreshing drink in the morning. Only need a tiny less than half a teaspoon every other day.

Actual cinnamon
Lovely on my porridge in the morning. Very relieved to finally be able to enjoy some real cinnamon. Not the cheap coumarin laden relatives sold by supermarkets and some leading spice brands. I'm grateful they dont sell potatoes or we could end up with belladonna if its legal to be so loose within a plant family.

Fake cinnamon
This isn’t real cinamon! It’s dark brown in colour which means is cassia Cinnamon (fake cinamon). I’ve actually eaten a little bit of this product before researching it fully. Have now put it straight in the bin! I’ve found out that fake cinnamon can actually cause liver damage! DO NOT BUY!!
