I bought this to use in bread as an extra pop of color for a child. It worked great at giving a nice purple color while also sneaking in a vegetable into the bread. It did not have an off flavor or odor and was an easy sneak into homemade bread. I love using it to make swirled loaves and purple loaves of sourdough.

Bought this to try a pink sourdough loaf for Valentine’s Day. I should have used more but the color is better in person and it does NOT change the flavor which is great! Much better alternative to dyes

I purchased this product to add a little extra to my sourdough baking. I am pleasantly impressed by how beautiful the color is when baked.

I wish they would have included instructions on the label for reconstituting this powder to use it in place of mashed sweet potato or canned pumpkin puree in recipes. There is so much I want to try with this product and that most basic information would be SO helpful!I also struggled with the zipper built into the packaging, mine had the zipper glued closed and even after cutting fully free of the package, it would not open.I was SO happy to see the color once i opened the package, it doesn't disappoint! This dried ube powder is very finely ground and a vibrant, vivid purple. I swapped this powder for 2 tablespoons of the the instant potato flakes in a roll recipe and the result was unbelievably beautiful lilac rolls. I didn't notice any flavor change with that quantity.

Very fine powder that easily mixes into anything, smoothies, yogurt, sprinkle onto drinks.The ube taste is very mild, but that might be just be expected for powders.

This product was perfect to use to make ube nian go for lunar new year. It was very fine powder and easy to mix.

I like adding this to my sourdough bread when I’m making the dough. It adds such a nice pinkish/purple color to it depending on how much you add. I find that it doesn’t alter the taste much if any at all and it just makes it look so pretty without adding any dyes!
