Waltons Wooden Garden Greenhouse 6x3 Outdoor Potting Shed, Growhouse, Shiplap, Pent Roof (6 x 3 / 6Ft x 3Ft)

I was expecting a little more value for money for this shed. Doors have no rebate to stop drafts, there is between a 3-5mm gap around each door allowing drafts which obviously effect the temperature. Also there is a gap between the side panels and the front panels allowing drafts. The opening roof window is not sturdy enough. The single shelf is far too high. Assembly was fairly easy although despite a plentiful amount of screws, some stated were either too long or short. After spending considerable time to amend the above, adding an additional shelf and also raising the height with an additional plinth, so it was less like a Wendy house, it sort of works. I still haven't bought strengthening brackets for the window yet which it definitely needs. I would have paid more to have had the thing made properly. The doors/ window/ shelf are poorly designed.

Great product, went up easily, nice and sturdy so you can move it about for final positioning. Looks great. TIP. If I was doing this again I would spray paint/treat all the parts before constructing. Save some time and not be too reliant on the weather😉TIP 2, Put some string on the inside of the opening roof vent to stop it opening too much, save you an embarrassing trip round the neighbours when it blows off . UPDATEDFirst summer season very pleased with my tomatoe crop.

The greenhouse was delivered on time and we are very pleased with the quality.The only downside was a very surly delivery driver who complained about our garden layout for delivery. We have furniture delivered countless times over 43 years and it has never been an issue. He told us the house would be no good to us when we get old (we're 65 and 68) because we would have no where to put our mobility scooters! ! Personally I found that rude and unnecessary. He clearly needs customer service training or alternative employment.

Easy to put up ( make sure your base is level ) painting the timber first was a good idea. Finished greenhouse looks lovelyin pastel green. Delivery was good, arrived early in the day after a phone call from the driver. Best birthday present ever.

Bought direct from Walton’s - rapid despatch, delivered in two days. Took two people (working on bitterly cold day) to erect. TIP - check all the bits and pieces. They were all there, but as there are so many screws it is worth separating out the various sizes into, say, old marge tubs. It is essential, unless you are very tough, to have an electric drill. Only downside - nothing is pre - drilled.
