The Prince & Me 2 - The Royal Wedding
J**.
Prince and Me movie franchise - 1, 2, 3, 4
Prince and Me - I love this movie. I first saw this movie when it aired in the movie theatre. I remember at the time being disappointed with the ending because it left the story hanging...did they or didn't they have there happy ever after fairytale ending. My older Aunt and I debated; I was so on the side that they lived happily ever after but my Aunt thought that in real life they would have fizzled under pressure. Years later, I found out by happenstance that the Prince and Me movie has a sequel or 2 or 3 or 4. Yes there are 4 Prince and Me movies in the franchise.Julia Stiles' chose not to reprise her role as Paige and instead Kam' Heskin was casted as Paige. Although, Luke Malby' reprised his role of Edvard for the sequel he chose not to return for the subsequent movies and was replaced by Chris Geere' instead.Prince and Me (2004)Paige of USA and Prince Edvard of Denmark courtship begins as colleges students in Wisconsin, USA. Edvard is a student incognito who falls fast and deeply for college pre-med student Paige. Meet Cute!Prince and Me 2 - The Royal Wedding (2005)Edvard and Paige are living full time in Denmark and planning there wedding. Edward is the acting, crowned King of Denmark and Paige is now in her senior year of Copenhagen Med School, a heartbeat away from her dreams of becoming a doctor and marrying the love of her life - Just "Eddie". Of course all never goes smoothly for our couple but in the end love triumphs over adversity.Prince and Me 3 - A Royal Honeymoon (2008)Edvard and Paige are celebrating there 6 month wedding anniversary without having a real honeymoon 6 months ago due to the Kings' obligations preventing him from the trip after the wedding. So to surprise Paige, Edvard whiskies her away at Christmas time no less for there long overdue belated honeymoon. Of course the winter forest oasis is being threatened and our dynamic duo must race in to save the national gem from land development agents and Denmark's own PM. Denmark's PM is using the Kings' being out of the country for his own agenda to get the land bulldozed with the King none the wiser. Jokes on him when King Edvard and Queen Paige stumble upon his ruse on there impromptu honeymoon and foil his nefarious plans.Prince and Me 4 - Elephant Adventure (a.k.a 1 yr anniversary) (2009)King Edvard has been ruling Denmark for some time now and Queen Paige is now a practicing Doctor at Denmark General. Both have been so busy they have very little time for romance so when King Edvard receives a much anticipated wedding invitation from the King of Siam, He jumps at the opportunity to get away with his Wife and play humanitarian for the rainforest tribe. Of course, during the festivities Edvard and Paige manage to loose the sacred elephant and must save the day - for without the sacred elephant the princess marriage is jinxed and the rainforest tribe will be punished for supposedly kidnapping the elephant in the first place. By the way... the elephant just wandered off into the rainforest with no help from the rainforest tribe whatsoever. Never fear, King Edvard and Queen Paige are hot on the trail...and will true love prevail. Please its the Prince and Me franchise - of course.

LUKE MABLY 1; REST 0
I have to agree with the other reviews. Luke Mably had a hard time, but he persevered throughout. NO passion like with Julia Stiles. I agree Soren tried and did a pretty decent presentation. Again, what happened to Arabella? If nothing else she could have had a couple of "cameo" entrances and exits, being she would be a teenager and probably off to boarding school. I also agree, the King in the first movie was ill. Probably could have had a great recovery, but he was made to look like he wasn't going to live. I think most of the problem was a casting one. It was obvious that Kam Heskin did not want any kissing and showed hardly ANY emotion. The way she kissed was like she was kissing an uncle she didn't like. The biggest "fairy tale" was when Paige's parents arrived for the wedding on time, and lived 15 hours away, even with the fastest plane available. I agree the parents were a disappointment. The parents in the first movie were very good role models for prosperous farmers. Goes back again to casting.

Loved it!
I loved this movie! Plenty of twists and turns. The snobbish cousin coming in and trying to destroy the happiness of the couple by testing their love was subtle at first. Paige picked up on her scheme; what happened to her in the end was hilarious. Many funny scenes in this movie; one in particular, when Paige wore that dress that made her itch, had me laughing hard. One other scene that stood out for me was when Paige was photographed while hugging her classmate, and later she was chastised by her fiancé about it. He basically told her that her actions from now on represented royalty and not to get herself in compromised situations. Her life would no longer be private. This was quite a different world from what she was used to. I also liked when the Prince went after her and how she searched for a way out of their dilemma. Overall, I found this movie even better than the first movie! Can't wait to watch the next sequel!

It was very enjoyable
If you saw Prince me, you have to see Prince and Me 2 to see what happened to Eddie and Paige.I didn't expect the movie to change the world and it didn't. But it lived up to what I expected, a sweet love story. Yes it was a bit corny, but you expect this when dealing with fairytales. Yes, It was disappointing that everyone except Edvard (Luke Mably) was gone, but after a while I forgot that most of the original cast members were missing. Kam Heskin did a good job as Paige Morgan. Both leads had great chemistry, and played off each other well.I would recommend this movie.

Enjoyable
I enjoyed the first "The Prince & Me" movie. And, I had seen the second movie, "The Prince & Me 2" before. I planned to get the DVD movie anyway to add to my movie collection. I enjoyed the actor, Luke Mably a lot in the first movie. And, he played a wonderful part in the second movie. So I recommend this movie if you enjoy romantic comedy.

A very nice love story, though poorly told; but still a good watch.
It's true, the 1st 1 w/ Julia Stiles was done better, but Kam Heskin is a much prettier girl & therefore more enjoyable to watch, than Julia Stiles. It's sad that the 2nd one wasn't done as well, but I still enjoyed it, because it's a good love story. A wholesome storyline, pleasant to watch nevertheless, compared to all the sordid ones: murders, etc.As always Luke is cute or a "hunk", even though he's skinny; & he's a real good actor. I won't be surprised if he becomes a big star sooner than later. Will probably watch every movie he makes.I think he & Kam make a lovely couple. Their chemistry developed towards the end, especially their wedding kiss. Inspite of its warts, it's still an enjoyable movie. I'll still recommend to others.

Proper Rubbish - it doesn't deserve one star.
I usually love a follow up movie to see what happens to a great romantic story, but this is really really bad. The new Paige is a terrible fill-in for Julia Stiles. The fact is it is a shame they made this film as it really takes away from the first movie, which was fantastic. The only actor that remains the same is the handsom Luke Mably - and even he had been brought down by the terrible acting around him. The story line is completely lacking. It is a rip off of the 2nd Princess Diaries movie with Ann Hathaway. Now that was a good sequel. Two words - Don't Bother. Just don't - leave it with the happily ever after of the first movie.

Not that it matters this was still an enjoyable film and carried on from number one nicely. Even though there are more of these
Same prince but different actress for the girl. Not that it matters this was still an enjoyable film and carried on from number one nicely. Even though there are more of these films I will stop here as I think having to many spoils it and the plot can run out
