I've been using silk pillowcases for years and will never go back to other fabrics for my sleep. The switch has made a big difference on how my skin looks/feels and on the smoothness of my hair.I love this particular pillowcase for a couple of reasons. The hidden zipper makes it easy to use, and feels even more luxurious. And, the silvery gray color isn't too dark and matches my bedding perfectly. I love the 100% mulberry silk--it is the one to look for when purchasing a silk pillowcase.5 stars from me!

Pros: Smoother than 800 thread counts.Cons: Caring for it.I must admit that this silk pillow case I got for my wife is much better than I had expected.I learned about thread counts (the higher that “silkier”) back in college days and I figured it was to me to try this silk pillow case.It’s just like any other pillow case so the shape is standard. The zipper design is a good one as it tries to hide it when you close it. The zipper is made of plastic (we’ll get to that in a moment).Test: We mainly use 800 thread counts around our house and we set it side by side for comparison. But the look of it you can already tell there is something different. This pillow case has that shiny look while the 800 thread counts looks cotton-ish(?).When touching it you can feel the silk pillow case smooth. It’s fascinating. We thought 800 thread counts was good but this blew it away.At one point in my college days I had 1000+ thread counts and I don’t recall it being this smooth either.Maintenance: As you can see in my pictures I posted the labels. I think it’s important for you to know what kind of maintenance you need to do to make sure this silky pillow case last a long time.Hand wash at 30C and do not tumble dry. Basically it’s telling you to dry clean it if you can, otherwise, take your time. We will dry clean it.Back to the zipper. Since it is plastic I’m not quite sure how it will do in dry cleaning with heat. I will update if it melts - it says dry cleaning so should be ok.Overall, this type of silk isn’t too bad so we’ll replace mommy and daddy stuff with silk.

After looking at several silk pillowcases, I was sold on Cognatio's 22mm option. I was not disappointed. This is a well made product. It's nicely boxed & in a bag. Very true to size & the zipper closure ensures it stays in place. I suspect this will hold up nicely, if it doesn't, I'll revisit this review. These are first impressions...time will reveal if is worth the investment.

I love the smooth cool feeling of the silk against my face. I ordered a pillow case from another brand name company whose name begins with BL...Y. They send the wrong color and their same product cost over 3X as much for 22 Momme. Great color selection too!

Nice and soft, cool,and very comfortable to sleep on. It really did have an effect on my hair in a good way.I washed them in a delicate bag for washing machine and air dried them and all is still great!

This pillow is very pretty! It looks like a regular polyester pillow, but my head does not slip off of it! It has a beautiful sheen! I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another color again!

I don't dry this--just hang it. Really like it, Worth the effort to hang to dry.

Nice feel and thicker than expected, really does help prevent bed head. Not as cool as I had hoped though. Overall good value for$ compared to the blissy brand. I hand wash as recommended and flat dry on towel and dries fairly quickly

I really love the look of these silk pillowcases. I hand washed them the first couple of times and now put them in my front loader on delicate, then hang them to dry. They dry very fast. I have had them for 4 months now and they still look great. I don’t find that they have improved my hair or skin. The only thing that is a negative for me is I find them warmer than my cotton cases.

It really does make a big difference sleeping on a silk pillow case. My hair is tangle free and smooth when I wake up and my skin feels better too. LOVE the hidden side zipper. Just be careful not to use harsh detergents. I hand wash only and hang to dry. **** Edit**** I started putting the pillowcase in the gentle cycle in the washing machine it seems to hold up just fine!!

Much thicker than the previous silk pillowcases I bought from other cheaper brands. I will definitely buy more and recommend to others. I might even buy some for Christmas gifts.

This is the first time I have purchased a silk pillow cases and I got lucky. This are very soft and feel great. I have a small therapeutic pillow and the small size fits great. I would recommend this.
