The headline says most of it. While the tip is a tad heavy my wife, age 86, does not fine that this creates any difficulty.

No time spent on searching for a good place to hang or prop your cane. Also it quiets the clicking from cane when walking.

I have a beautiful walking cane with a regular tip (purchased from Amazon) There are times however when I feel I could use more stability, especially when I'm out and about and become tired or on those days when I'm just not quite up to par. The Quad tip was easy to put on my cane replacing original tip. It's on tight, no worries about it coming off. It did however take some time for me to get use to the change, as there is a weight difference (little) but before I realized it, it felt normal. It's great to have a cane you don't have to juggle with or find a prop for leaning. Great Quad Tip & best choice I made for myself!

I have another cane that has the same walking tip. It works great, don't have to worry about the cane falling over and it will stand on its own anywhere you sit it. Very study bottom, helps with support also when walking. I would recommend this cane tip to anyone. I get lots of comments on it, everyone wants to know where I found it.

I don't know how long these are supposed to last with daily use. I purchased this one for my husband in April 1923. He is tall but not overweight and does use it daily. It now has a split between the ribs on the inside of the tip. I am hesitant to buy the same brand again and will now purchase one of the other brands to see if we have better luck. He did find it useful for keeping his cane upright when not using it.

The device fits well on the standard cane. It is heavy enough it stands the cane upright on plush carpet, but it doesn't get in the way when she walks. However, wife has fibromyalgia and RA, and it is heavy enough she can't use it! Can't have everything!

This little attachment is worth it's weight in gold. My mom hated the industrial look of canes with the four prong legs. And, her cane fept falling over and then she could find it. Sound familiar?Get this. In fact, get one for each and every cane your loved on has. It really works. Even on mid-height plush carpet.
