Q: Can i use in a regular pot on the stove?

I use it all the time with a standard pot on a gas stove. What I do is heat the oil with a couple of kernals, When those pop, I then add in the popcorn, let the kernals sizzle for about 10 seconds, then add in the glaze mix. I then stir the popcorn, kernals and glaze mix until the mixture gets foamy (about half a minute...before the corn starts popping). I then cover the pot, and place it directly on medium heat flame for 5 seconds then lift the pot off the heat and shake it for 5 seconds, then back on the heat for 5 seconds, then off the heat and shake for 5 seconds. repeat this process until the popcorn stops popping. Towards the end of the popping cycle I bring the gas flame down to low heat. The product works great in a pot when used in this manner

Q: Can I use this with an old fashioned popcorn cart-type machine that has a kettle and built-in stirring rod?

Yes you can, it works great. Be sure to turn off the kettle on the last batch when the popcorn hits the lid so it doesn't scrotch. Water clean up.

Q: I have an electric corn popperwith a dome lid that uses oil, but it does not have a stirring rod. Will this mix work with it, or will it burn?

It will burn. The glaze will clump if not being stirred constantly so I would not recommend it for a popper without the stirring rod. The whirley pop is definitely the best solution. Good luck!

Q: Can I add this to popcorn I make in a glass bowl in the microwave?

I don't think so, it sticks to the oil that I use for my popcorn popper. Maybe if the microwave popcorn has oil on it.
