Right size, right number of ports, works as advertised
The item is a charging block. While the unit is cruise approved (hopefully it means what is stated), I primarily use this while traveling for work. Just enough USB ports for me to charge my iPhone, iPad, (with adapter) iWatch, and dive computer. The profile is small enough to fit in my backpack side pocket. The reason why I purchased this item was the way the 120v AC cord enters the unit. The cable has a shield that protects from angular fraying. My last unit the power cord frayed right at the block rendering the unit unsafe. This one seems better. The item works as advertised.

Great for a cruise
I used this on a cruise a few years ago and it worked great. With very few outlets in the room this was perfect to charge everything. Never had an issue with shortages or slow charges.

Not Holland America cruise approved!
NOT SO CRUISE APPROVED. This was confiscated today when we arrived on board. What an embarrassing experience. Update: seller has been very responsive, kind and helpful with all of this. I would happily buy from these guys again. They turned around an unfortunate instance. Maybe just use caution with this extension cord while traveling on Holland America, to no fault of the seller as this follows all standards.

Great product.
Worked great. Bought it to use in our room on a cruise. Have used it in two. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect for our cruise
We took this on a cruise and it worked great! No issues with the cruise line or being able to fit everything.

Cruise line approved and compact for your luggage!
We bought this for a cruise in Europe after we found out the Cruise line wouldn't allow unapproved surge protectors or unapproved extension cords in the cabins. I sleep with a CPAP and we needed a cord to charge our phones and tablets. This worked great and didn't take up much room in our luggage.

Great item but prohibited on Royal Caribbean
I bought this for our Royal Caribbean cruise last week, before boarding the ship the security staff took it away and returned it after the cruise. They said it is no longer allowed on Royal Caribbean, I’m not sure about other cruise lines. If they did allow it, it could have been very useful and wonderful to use.

Confiscated by Celebrity Cruise Line
Confiscated by Celebrity Cruise Line. It was in original packaging and clearly marked as cruise safe. They returned it at the end of the trip which was unfortunately 2 days after the return window closed. Save your money. Cruise lines don’t care if it’s marked “cruise safe”.
