Dowsing is an interesting skill to acquire, though most people think of it as merely coincidental I still find it to be a fascinating skill to learn that's why I got this book. Mia compiled a great deal of ideas for dowsing it's history the science behind it, the practical methods and tips to learn and it's different uses. So if you think you need to find out how to do it, then this book is probably the right one for you. Nice one!

This book was a good review of the basic techniques used for dowsing and a brief history of its use. There are some interesting uses for dowsing toward the end.

My kids like this book and have a little witch fun

I knew nothing about dowsing. This little book was really what I needed in the way of an introduction. Not too much, just a taste of what it is, it's history, how it can be done and things you do with dowsing. It was a fun, informative read and I think I'll give dowsing a try.

You can never have too many good DIY books in your library

Good starting point, but not much detail. I felt there should have been more, but it might be ok for beginners

I believe in dowsing. Many years my father was working on a construction site. He was asked by his boss to find a manhole that was buried under rubble. So my Father used a couple of twigs to dowse for it using the traditional method explained in this fascinating book. It was found very quickly and he was called a 'wizard'. True story. This is a well-written book with an interesting account of the history of dowsing. For example, I didn't know the police used it to find missing people?. I will definitely use it for future reference - a spot of treasure seeking, perhaps?

It's a good thing the kindle edition is free since it's not worth paying for; there is barely any content and what content there is suggests that the techniques mentioned are too sophisticated for the reader to accomplish, unless you buy further novels on the subject.I'am aware that dowsing has real-world applications, but some of these are just targeting the gullible.
