Casio G-SHOCK SKY COCKPIT TOUGH SOLAR MVT MULTIBAND6 GW-A1100FC-1AJF Watch (Japan Import)

First off this watch was made in 2013. It's now 06/19. I was a bit scared that this watch would feel and look out dated or have problems but I was very wrong. All of the positive things the other reviews have said are spot on! Additionally I didn't personally find most of the negative things said to be true either. I bought this model because the red/black model did not have the same wrist band. But I'm glad I did buy this one. The polished dark blue trim is perfect. It's subtle indoors and absolutely pops in the sunshine without approaching the line of too flashy or attention grabbing. It feels and is rugged enough to take any amount of daily abuse, and look stunning enough at the end of the day. FYI: the wrist band is resin but feels like metal. You can exercise in this with comfort.I personally don't care that it doesn't have a built in illuminator. I always carry a pocket flashlight everywhere, everyday. If I had to pick on something to criticize 1. I would say that the photo luminous markings don't retain the "like new" light charge for more than 5mins. BUT the markings do hold a very dim charge for hours and hours on end. 2. For a $450+ watch I fully expected it to be mailed in a box but I received it in a Manila envelope placed on my doorstep. Had it been stolen I would have been extremely upset. Offer locker pickup locations or signature requirements for expensive items Amazon!Keep your eyes on the pins as you adjust the bracelet but it's very simple to do on your own. The newer cell phone micro sim card tools are perfect.Do's: wear the hell out of it enjoy itDon'ts: don't be alarmed when it goes into power save mode.

I have always wanted a nice G-Shock ever since I was a kid. I am 45 now and I have many higher end mechanical watches but nothing I can really where out do work in the yard or physical activities. This G-Shock is absolutely awesome! The weight is perfect...light but feels substantial....linked bracelet style band is incredibly comfortable! I am used to large watches and this watch is huge but it wears so light sometimes you don't even notice that you're wearing it. If you are a watch person looking for a classy G-Shock or a rugged time piece definitely give this G-Shock a chance. Funny thing is...I find myself taking off my higher end watches just to wear this G-Shock. So I jumped on the Rangeman to wear during harder play and physical activities that could cause damage to the Sky Cockpit and I figured what the heck...get something a bit funky but not over the top in colors. ....I love both these watches!!!!

This is a great watch for the aficionado's collection. Not only does this digital watch provide a multitude of features but the mature styling of it's case and band paired with the elegance of it's dial puts this piece right at the top of my collection.I would recommend this watch for any person that loves the spirit of elegant timepieces. Surprisingly, this G-Shock is a piece to be proud of and worn with pride.

I own several G-Shock watches and this one is by far the best looking and most comfortable one that I own. The only downside is it doesn't have a light however the glow in the dark hands are easy to see at night and in low light conditions.

Pretty good design for an all-analog face, but compared to my other analog-digital G Shocks, it feels more cumbersome to get the information from it. The chronograph does look cool while it's running, with the 1/20th second indication making a full rotation each second. The blue of the bezel also looks really good with its mirror finish. The blue is also fairly subtle, so it doesn't leap out at you, but just provides some interest to the dial. The band is good and lays flat on the sides of my wrist, but initially sizing it was difficult with the spring bars instead of pins. If you're resizing the band yourself, you might want to think about where you're doing it because a couple of pins went flying when I did it.

Received watch on time, one earlier complaint seems true though, the blue highlighted face is somewhat dull looking and hard to read, so far, it synced up OK, year, month, date and time all correct. All functions work, atomic-time auto-receive, stop watch, count down timer, alarm and world time mode. Stay tuned, my last Casio G-Shock GPW1000-1A, lasted 11 months, it had GPS and that chip went bad!! they had to return my money..that chip could not be replaced, that's why I bought this one, WITHOUT GPS feature !! By the way, this particular seller is selling a Japan made/issued version, the 1AJF I believe qualifies that, I have seen other GWA1100's and they had "Thailand cased" written on the back side, this one has JAPAN written on the back side, I'm betting this (GWA1100FC-1AJF) model would be a better manufactured end product than the less expensive ones being offered on Amazon

Gorgeous, Durable, Deadly Accurate.

I am so happy that I now own this watch . It is a classic !! I have a very small wrist, and had to get the bracelet made smaller by my local Casio dealer. I just use a watch for time and date in my world travels, and I am proud to wear it. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for!! Highly recommend!

高級感有りながらも思いの外軽くて良かった。

真冬の車内に放置しても真夏の車内に放置しても、選択乾燥機の乾燥で回されても何の問題も起きませんでした。デイ機能・デイト機能があって電波ソーラーという条件ではこれがいいと思います。凄い。

デザインと機能が素晴らしい!この時計に限らず、どの機種も少し前のモデルの方が良いです。ただ時間を確認するなら、Gshockでなくても良いのですが、針の動き　（ストップウォッチ、タイマー、アラーム、その他）が遊び心があって面白い。最近のモデルは、Bluetooth接続があり、精度がよくなって、前に書いた針の動きが普通になって面白くない。ＭTG　B2000を購入したけれど、（Gｗ A1100の前）オシャレで凄く良いのですが、ワールドタイムの国とパワーリザーブインジケーターが省かれていて、スッキリしていますが、面白みがなくなったようです。ＭTG S1000も所有してますが、そっちの方がだんぜん面白いです。ＭTGS1000とGｗA1100の使う頻度が多いですね。Gｗ1100はカッコイイです。フライトコンポジットバンドも良いですね。

GW-A1100F-C1AJFは★４させて頂きます。何故かと言うと、 GW-A1100-1A3JF も持っていますが、1A3JFは緑主体の夏山に馴染む配色です。機能はGW-A1100seriesですので、基本同じです。特色は35.65'oのワイドフェイスのサファイアガラス仕様で、方位計測機能「ワンプッシュで方位を指針」などがあります。本製品 C1AJFは「フライトコンポジットバンド」（1A3JFは樹脂バンド）を採用した仕様で、三ツ折れプッシュタイプ中留になっています。GW-A1100-1A3JFは★３にさせて頂きましたが、GW-A1100-FC1AJFでは、フライトコンポジットバンドが個人的に好きで更に、大空をイメージさせるブルーを基調として色を採用したことで、★４にしました。これに、温度計測機能があれば★５にしたいと思っています。 GW-A1000series では温度計測機能がありますが、方位計測機能がありません。GW-A1000seriesは冬山スキーとかに使えそうですが、遭難した場合（ぇ　でしょうかｗ方位、温度計を採用したモデルもあります、 GA-1000series がそれに当たりますが、ソーラーが採用されていません（電池交換式-電池寿命約2年）。その代りLEDバックライトがあります。他と比較した結果、GW-A1100F-C1AJFは★４させて頂きます。PS.バンド調整には 時計工具 が必要です。 GW-A1100-1A3JFGW-A1000seriesGA-1000series時計工具

Amazonで一目惚れして思わずポチってしまいました。大満足な買い物です。文字盤のデザインはまるで戦闘機のHUD のような雰囲気でとても格好いいと思います。文字盤を囲むメタリックブルーも派手すぎずいい感じでキラッと輝いて存在感があります。バンドのフライトコンポジットバンドは軽い上に格好いい、その上メンテナンスも楽と文句のつけどころがありません。バンド調整も簡単でした。ネットを調べてもなかなか見つからなかったのですが、弄ってみるとコマ止めのピンがバネ式になっていたので簡単に着脱できました。方法は、コマの脇の穴に入るくらいの細い棒でピンを押し込み、コマが外れる方に軽くこじると取れます。(この時ピンが飛んでいかないよう注意)6時側のコマを12時より１コマほど抜くとバランスが取れます。バックル部分もピンを外さないようずらしながら移動させると簡単でした。機能性の面では、夜の視認性が悪い以外では不満な点はありません。ソーラーだし電波だし方位も付いてるし満足です。耐久性はG-shock なのでなんの心配もありません。風防がサファイアガラスなのも嬉しいです。この価格でここまでの機能性、耐久性、デザイン(好みがありますが)があり腕時計は滅多にありません。衝動買いしてホントに良かったです。
