Big help
Shows instant results on my irons. Also helps with using against the wind on par three shots.

Read the description carefully there’s only one not two that shown all the pictures
It’s my fault but all the pictures that I looked at showed two bats laying there. I just assumed that there were two when I read the description it said only one, so I should’ve read closer before I purchased.

Great training tool
This is a great tool for practicing. It is a small mat with a surface that shows your movement. (Think flip sequins.) The material records the direction of your swing as well as where your club hits the ground. It has been really helpful in getting a better understanding of both swinging and putting. It easily smooths back into place to be used over and over again. It is sturdy, despite being used many times, the material is holding nicely with little sign of wear. Great for anyone who is trying to improve their game.

Works for me
Don't laugh, but I taped it to my hardwood floor and I love this golf training mat! It lets me work on really dialing in where I need my feet in relation to the tee so I can strike the ball in the same place each time, or learn how to adjust WHERE I put my feet in relation to how I strike the ball. I feel like I can see what happens to the club head as the swing moves through the arc. And I like that I can use it in the house whenever I want to practice-swing a little. It's rubber on the bottom and a little painter's tape fixes it in place just fine. For me this works great, and I would recommend it on my own experience.

Sequined impact mat is interesting
I ordered this Oxlaw Golf Training Mat largely out of curiosity, being tempted by the prospect of gaining helpful swing feedback as my club flips this mat’s sequins along the impact track — the color change with the flipped sequins really makes the impact trail obvious, and that seems like helpful information. And the product description under the “DIVOT DATA” heading, which honestly seems to be a bit much (“detailed divot data including ball speed, launch angle, backspin and sidespin”), was nevertheless intriguing. After trying this product with its sequined design (as compared to the flannel or velvet surfaces that highlight the impact track on some other mats) and getting some useful ground impact feedback as a result, I find it to be helpful… but not at the unrealistic level described. The mat is small, with the sequined impact area measuring 7” by 15” on a mat that is just under 10x18 inches overall, including borders. And it’s thin, measuring 3/8”, which really doesn’t give much depth for replicating the feel of anything close to an actual fairway or divot — my club head basically skates along the sequins, showing me where ground impact starts and ends on the relatively hard mat surface. So I don’t feel like it’s giving me particularly detailed swing information, beyond seeing how far behind the ball I am or am not hitting, as well as my swing direction at impact (and that is indeed helpful). While I initially thought the product wouldn’t hold up to repeated use (the sequins can flip around to the wrong side at impact, and then need to be turned back around manually), I have since put some miles on it and it is in fact holding together surprisingly well. After using it for a good while now I’ve come to appreciate that it’s kinda fun to use, and it has helped me get my club more consistently under the ball — and that’s a good thing.

Cool idea, Bad execution
The sequence is a good idea in theory but doesn't hold up well. Had it for not even 2 days and the it's already falling apart. The rubber on the front is breaking off and I'm constantly having to vacuum up the sequence.

Excellent Golf Training tool
This swing mat has been a valuable tool for my swing after using for a few weeks. The sequined design is different than other mats that provide similar swing feedback and time will tell if it proves durable. Mat is a nice size to use in different locations. Highly recommend for beginners or those looking for basic information how how their swing.

Great idea
This is a fun way to evaluate your swing. I got this for my son, his girlfriend and me to practice swings. We set it up outside in my son's yard and it was quite interesting. Don't know how durable this will be, especially if using outdoors, but for the price, I believe this would be a good purchase for a casual golfer.
