Heavy duty metal, nicely finished with a mirror shine and smooth edges. The kebab meat slid right off.The handles seem a little wobbly, though, so I'll have to peen the rivets a bit to tighten them up.It's odd that they come in a set of 7.

Not for your smaller kabob veggies and stuff. These wide skewers seem well-made and long-lasting, but won't help you barbeque tiny shrimp and teeny veggies. Have used them several times now over coals in a fire pit and on a kettle charcoal grill. Excellent for larger meat kabobs and such. See photo. They really do help cook the food more evenly and their just plain fun to use. I'd say the storage bag is good, but I'd hesitate calling it great. Happy to have it. Wouldn't want to have to fashion something to carry these around in.

I’ve had these for about a month and already one of the rivets that holds the wood on the metal came off. These things are falling apart quickly.Update - after writing the first review, they offered to send a replacement set. I’m improving the rating since they at least stand by their product. Good customer service.The new set is a bit different. The skewers have rounded edges on the wood, which is nice. They also changed the bag, which I don’t like as much. I feel like the solid black bags look much nicer. I’ve added pictures

I don't know why some people said that the product arrived damaged... mine was in PERFECT condition!! I love the storage bag and the best part of all, is the length of the skewers... Long enough that the wood handles are out side my gas grill and not getting burned. The width of the flat skewer made is very easy to rotate the skewer - with cool wood handle - without being afraid of the food spinning on... I have used them now for over 3 weeks and enjoy the product.Recommend!!
