Seymour Duncan SP90-1n Vintage P90 Soapbar Neck Single Coil Pickup - Black

Looks great, sounds great, but may need to consider phase when matching to multiple pickups
Looks great and sounds even better. This replaced the neck pickup in my MIM Deluxe Nashville Telecaster and seems to match up well to the output and tone from the remaining two, slightly hot Tex-Mex middle and bridge pickups.Of note, when I initially wired this pickup to my guitar's eight-tone wiring scheme (similar to "Strat-o-Tele/James Burton" switching), the neck/middle and neck/bridge combinations sounded nasal and thin so I assumed that the P90 was out-of-phase with the other pickups. This was relatively easy to fix by switching which wire from the pickup itself went to ground (to the pickup casing, screw, and braided part of the wire) and which one went to hot (the inner, black part of the wire). Afterwards, all pickup combinations sounded great and still have a respectable amount of hum-canceling despite the relatively big differences in architecture between the three pickups.

Perfect
Good seller. The pickup sounds awesome.

Un suono vintage affascinante.
Ottimo. Ovviamente il p90 è molto microfonico e l'hum è elevato. Sconsigliato a chi usa guadagni elevati e distorsori spinti. La pasta sonora è unica: timbrica da Gibson con ricchezza armonica sui medio alti da single coil. Il suono delle origini per la chitarra elettrica. Una tavolozza da non perdere fra i propri colori timbrici. Molto soddisfatto.
