For all you ladies/girls out there who have ever been one to shy away from installing a ceiling fan on your own because you felt it was scary or way too cumbersome - well, I am hear to tell you this could not be further from the truth! This is exactly how I felt until I finally decided to face my fears, bite the bullet and install my new ABC 60" Indoor Ceiling Fan (with remote) all by myself this past weekend (and I am being truthfully honest when I say ALL BY MYSELF). Attaching the bracket to the ceiling was a cinch and assembling the fan was even easier. Once the assembly phase was completed along with my chosen down rod (I used the 10"), it was then only a matter of placing it up into the bracket I previously mounted on the ceiling. I then connected the colored wires just as the instructions indicated (I used wire strippers to expose the copper for the 3 wires extending from the ceiling), and then placed the receiver with the connected wires into the provided space at the top of the ceiling bracket. I then used the provided cover to encase all of the wiring and receiver. Once covered, I then used the 2 screws already provided from the bracket to screw the cover in place and VOILA! I then placed 2 AAA batteries into the remote and turned it on.I cannot emphasize enough how quiet the fan is and how beautiful it looks in my great room. The amount of air flow it provides even on a speed of 1 is remarkable! The black is also very sleek and classy looking. One cannot go wrong in ordering this fan! In fact, I am now going to purchase the 52" for my bedroom and cannot wait!

These fans really move a lot of air and look great too. There's been a shipping issue on the second fan I ordered 3 WEEKS ago. The fan company answered the 3 or so emails I had sent with concerns and did everything on their side to expedite the order. After 3 chats with Amazon over 2 weeks, the fan is supposed to be here tomorrow. It's very reassuring to know this company always follows through with customer concerns.UPDATE!!! I can't remember when I've purchased anything with better customer service and follow up. The minor issue I had was not the fault of the fan, it was my wall controller. Ryan from ABZ could teach classes on how to provide quality customer service. Sadly it seems to be a lost art, but Ryan completely understand the importance of quality customer service. This customer greatly appreciates that.

Very nice, modern and sleek looking

The fan is modern and the first ceiling fan we have had with three blades, but we fell in love with it as soon as we started it up. The ease of putting it together and hanging it is a bonus; however, it does have a speed control that needs to be placed in the body of the fan's hanger. Dealing with lightweight electrical wires is not a problem, but the house copper wires are hard to get out of the way. The fan's hand control is good, but takes a little time to get used to. Overall, it is a 5-pointer. I have had ceiling fans in my homes since the 70s and many were so heavy or cheaply constructed, I assure you that is is a gem.

This fan moves more air on it's low speeds than my other fans do on high.It looks good too. It is an eye catching piece. Reminds me of a wooden airplane propeller. I'm still trying to figure out a couple aspects of the remote.Note. It doesn't come with three down rods as advertised. The parts packing slip only shows 2, a 5" & a 10". There never was a 15" down rod included. I found customer to be slow in response to my inquiries. I bought a 18" rod locally to complete my installation. Days afterward the seller offered to send one. He DID reimburse me for my down rod. He tried to make it right, and I appreciate the effort.In conclusion, you can't go wrong with this fan...a #10 all the way. I'm gonna say the seller had a bad weekend and I'd give them another chance.I'd buy again, probably will.Cheers!

Update: after I have contacted the seller directly on their website, they reached out immediately. We found a solution to the issue and all is working great now. Changed my review to 5 stars, especially for customer service.I had this fan professionally installed. Fan was heavy wobbling when turned on. Try to balance with the included kit, nothing. Ordered another kit to stop the wobbling, nothing, still wobbling to a very high degree. I’m afraid it will get loose from the ceiling when turning on. Contacted the seller, no reply. Just wasted $250 for installation (heigh ceiling). I am very disappointed and will return the fan.
