Great for the type of candle with containers i make/use.
I make homemade beeswax/coconut oil blend candles. Works great for my 50/50 blend with a container with an opening of 2.75in. Nothing bigger than that though. If I were to do just beeswax then I would need a much bigger size. Arrived on time. I prewax them for 5 minutes per wick and sends to burn very well. Have to trim them every 2 hours or so while burning.

#3 too small for 2 1/2 inch diameter candle, contrary to what they recommend on product packaging
These wicks are not strong enough for a 2 1/2 inch diameter beeswax candle. I read advice online to use a #4 wick for that size, but after looking at the packaging on this wick, they recommend a wick as small as a #1 for a 2 1/2 diameter. Not wanting to go that low, I chose the #3 wick that the company recommends for a diameter up to 3 1/2 inches. Unfortunately it's tunneling in my 2 1/2 inch candle.

Works for Beeswax!
YES, this is exactly the type of of wick you use for Beeswax candles. Works so well! Be sure you are getting the right # (size) wick for the diameter of your candle... look for sizing charts online.

Loved that this product didn't have a metal bottom
Loved that this product didn't have a metal bottom. Worked out perfectly for my need. Was able to cut them to size. Burned very well with no smoke.

Ineffective - still experimenting
This #3 square braid did not work for 3" x 6" beeswax pillar candles as is claimed on the packaging. It produced a melt pool of just over an inch - not enough for a 3" diameter beeswax pillar. Will experiment with #4, #5, and #6 and advise in the future.
