The Gospel of Jesus Christ

I really enjoyed reading The Gospel of Jesus Christ by Paul Washer. Whether you’re completely new to learning about Jesus or, like me, have grown up knowing Him, this book offers a fresh and powerful perspective. Washer does a great job of laying out the core message of the gospel in a way that’s both clear and deeply convicting. What stood out to me most was how he explains the depth of God’s holiness, our need for salvation, and the incredible grace offered through Christ. It’s not just surface-level teaching, he really digs into Scripture and challenges readers to reflect on their faith and what it truly means to follow Jesus. I also appreciated that it wasn’t overly complicated. It’s a book you can read and understand no matter where you are in your walk with God, yet it still leaves you with a lot to think and pray about. For me, it was both a reminder of the foundation of my faith and an encouragement to continue growing in it. Overall, I’d highly recommend this book to anyone wanting a deeper understanding of the gospel, whether you’re exploring Christianity for the first time or seeking to strengthen your faith.

Thank you Lord for Paul Washer, and for gifting him w/ the desire & ability to communicate your glory to us, and infect us with a deeper love for You and deeper desire to spread your glory to Jerusalem, Judea, Somaria & the uttermost parts of the world. I am so thankful for this man and whether from youtube or from his writings, growing in the grace & knowledge of God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe this pamphlet is an excerpt from his excellent, 3 volume series, Recover The Gospel, which I'm working my way thru.

Easy to follow. Verses included for all points. Excellent tool for a seeker, new believer, and mature Christian. Excellent resource for discipleship, laying the foundational points of the Gospel. It’s like an extended Gospel tract!

This is a good booklet to read over to get the overview and then go back and read again taking notes and answering questions and seeing where we stand in our relationship with Christ Jesus.

Washer clearly and fully communicates the gospel using plenty of Scripture. He covers God's design for humans, our sin problem, Christ as the solution and the need to be saved by grace through faith. There's a short section on assurance of salvation. In Washer style, it is straightforward, tells the hard truths, and points to Jesus. He makes clear that obedience to Christ is the only sure/Biblical way to be sure of one's salvation (1 John 1:5-10 e.g.). But here's a tip - Buy them from the publisher for $2 at this writing in August 2024. They are $1 each when you buy 10 or more. Reformation Heritage Books. I keep them in both vehicles to give to people I meet and get a chance to chat with. We have them available at our info table at church too.

This little book distills the Biblical Essence of God's marvelous Master Plan of Salvation, through His Son, Jesus Christ, as the Holy Spirit convicts us and points us to Christ. Highly recommended to give to folks who are truly seeking to know about God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Great for open minded skeptics, new believers and those who have Journied with Jesus for decades!

The best summary of the Gospel I’ve read. Includes every aspect of the message necessary for understanding the Gospel (e.g., the holiness of God, marks of true conversion) — that most short Gospel tracts leave out.

This is the best explanation of the Gospel I’ve read. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to share with others!
