Amazing book
A lovely book, about love, growing up, family, and going with your heart

Warm, cozy
This was warm and cozy. So many people recommended it to me, and I understand the love. Timing matters in all things. This was an instant favorite for so many of my friends. While I enjoyed the story immensely and devoured it in one sitting, I didn't love it as much as I hoped. There was a component of insta love here, and that just is not my thing. I think this will resonate with a lot of readers as it deals with grief and growth in a beautiful way.

A must read!
So many ups and downs a well knitted story with connections you couldn’t make till the right moment. I’d give anything to be able to read this for the first time again.

The Seven Year Slip, Ashley PostonThe plot on this book is a little confusing, but I could not let that deter me from reading it because I love the main character from the very beginning. When Clementine’s aunt dies, she leaves her NYC apartment to her, but she warned her the apartment was magical. One day Clementine comes home from work to find a strange man, Iwan, in her apartment. The problem is that Iwan lives seven years in her past, and she is very much seven years in present day.How can true love exist in both the past and the present and how will they find each other in present day??I never expected to love this book as much and I did, especially with the slight fantasy element, but this is really just such a great love story!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

You never know what's behind closed doors
The Seven Year Slipby Ashley PostonI did a buddy read on this book with @the.bookrescue a little while back and just realized that I never posted a review.I really liked this book! It touches on grief and sadness, but it also gives insight on being at cross-roads in your life and having the determination to pursue your dreams. It's also a beautifully written story about second chance romance. It has a FMC you want to root for and a MMC that you swoon over with a cast of supporting characters that you can imagine are your own friends. Clementine had a spectacular relationship with her aunt. Going on adventures across many different countries, from the time she was a little girl. But the best part was always returning to her aunt's "magical" apartment; light bouncing through the frosted windows, the study full of books holding the key to various worlds, her aunt sitting in her favorite chair as if it were a throne. Her aunt often whispered to Clementine that the apartment was truly magical, and Clementine wanted to believe her. But nothing magical ever happened to her until one day she fell asleep on the couch and awoke to someone shaking her. Someone who shouldn't be inside her apartment. Someone she didn't know. Someone 7 years from the past.

Amazing, fast-paces and intriging
It was a really great surprise to read Ashley, the characters were very well developed and the romance is so cute but at the same time real. Looking forward to read A Novel Love Story very soon!

A magical read which made me weep in the end
“ You’re chasing the moon”“Whatever you say, Lemon”The seven-year-old slip by Ashley Poston is my first book by her. Man! She is so magical in writing ❤️, I couldn’t put it down once I started; it was a magical heaven to read this book. I couldn’t believe it. That I'm clearly rooting for romantic books. Still, I'm not for smut romance nor dark romance. Anytime in for magical realism right now. I cried last night while finishing this book at exactly 12 am; that’s today officially. I am not a wide awake person to late nights, but this one was so heartfelt yet heartbreaking. Clementine West, who is working at Strauss & Adder as a publicist in book marketing. Along with her, Drew and Fiona are her friends who work together. Clementine stays in her aunt's apartment. She and her aunt travel every summer around the world to enjoy themselves. Her aunt was so dear to her. She is someone who always makes Clementine believe in magical things with her stories. Later on, that year in the new year, she received a call from her mother that her aunt is no more. She was the only person who missed her very dearly. Iwan, a chef who is very famous in the olive branch. He lives in the past, 7 years from the present. He was staying in Clementine’s aunt's apartment when she returned from the summer. She stumbled to see the stranger in her aunt's apartment. He is such a green forest man. Ufff!!! The man I craved for in real life 😫😫😫😫. The way he calls Clementine by the sweet name "Lemon." That’s where I fell for him. The author has magic in her writing to get deeply into the world of magic realism, time travel, and not to forget about grief. I'm not spilling many beans. Go read if you love magical realism. This will be my favorite read from this month.“The love stays. The love always stays, and so do we.”
