Works great, programmed easily
Our new Genie opener only came with one remote but I needed more. These remotes are lightweight but have a solid feel to them, the rubber buttons have a good quality feel to it. The remotes programmed instantly, I followed the instructions that came with my door opener, the instructions with the remotes aren’t the greatest. The remotes are a little bigger than I had expected them to be but I’m not attaching them to my keys anyway, there small enough to hide in the car. The keychains that came with are a little bit on the thin side but are sufficient enough, I don’t know how long the keychain would last if I were to keep them attached the my keys but I have the remote attached in my car so it should be fine. The range is just as good as the factory remote that came with the opener. I only have one opener so I programmed all 3 buttons on the remote for the same door that way I can press any button to operate the door.Overall not the smallest remotes but they do work flawlessly and meets my needs.

Larger than an OEM Genie Visor mount remote
The media could not be loaded. While subjective, in my opinion, this is not really a key chain remote as it is actually larger than the OEM Genie visor remote. I only mention this so you should check the actual dimensions (which I did not) before ordering to decide if this would be appropriate for your keychain..Unless you religiously park in the garage all the time, it is best not to keep a visor mounted remote in your car. Several years ago some teens broke into my van, which I had left in the driveway, and with the remote from the visor, they were able to almost gain access to my garage. Luckily, I was returning from the mailbox, and they ran away when they saw me. Since then I have used a key chain remote so that it comes inside with me when I park the car outside. As to the remotes themselves, the actual build is decent, but the instructions leave much to be desired especially if you have two different Genie power units. When programing my main door, which has a newer Genie opener, the programing went without a hitch. However, I could not get the remote to pair with my older Genie unit.Later, I went to the sellers Add and found an explanation. The buttons need to be first programmed to work with either the Genie Intellicode I or, the Intellicode II (I posted a picture of the steps to take to change a button program). So, if you purchase this and you cannot pair this with your opener, the button most likely needs to be reprogramed.,To change the button program, hold the button down for a little over 10 seconds. When the LED changes, press the button 2 times more and the LED will change from either red to green, or green to red. Then try to pair with your opener (it should then work)PROS: It works once you get it programed.Has a range of around 150ft.You get two remotes at 30 percent less than ONE Genie OEM visor remote.CONS: Larger than A genie visor remote which makes for a crowded keychain.Directions that come with the remote do not cover reprograming the remote buttons for the older Genie models so, if it does not work you might think it is defective.Buttons have a positive "click" but many times I need to push several times to operate.More expensive than some better (IMO), and smaller, keychain remotes offered by competitors.
