First class and beautiful to look at, and handle. Decent cork ball to stop any dust or flies from entering. Also got the stand to store and drain from washing. Fully recommend.

I am SO pleased with our new red wine decanter.It has a beautiful classic look and the cork stopper is an ideal extra that many don’t have. Also it is nice and light so will not be too heavy when full. It was great value for money and we will definitely use this regularly not just special occasions.I am really looking forward to christening it on Christmas Day and am sure our guests will love it too.I looked at many many options and am super happy with my choice.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

I deliberated whether to get the Connoisseur or Deluxe and I'm very glad I chose the Deluxe. The quality of the decanter is absolutely fantastic. The clarity and sparkle of the Crystallin is excellent and that's important as you don't want it effecting the color of the wine. The decanter has a good weight and is obviously hand crafted.It is very well packaged and arrived in pristine condition. The accessories are also excellent quality. The Portuguese cork mats are worth having too. I've had no previous experience with quality cork so wasn't sure if it was just hype, but compared to the cheap ones I've used previously these have an almost suede-like feel to them.I also highly recommend you make use of the discount offer for the foldable drying stand. Trying to use your kitchen drying rack is not a great idea.

Just an update to my initial review. After a really quick delivery and refund because some accessories were missing. I realised I liked the item so much that I'd take a chance and reorder. The new version came very quickly all beautifully complete. Just something that happens from time to time but Jean from the company contacted me to express his personal apology and to offer a storage stand dryer so that this gift to my daughter and husband would be extra special it again arrived super quickly this morning absolutely delighted. I would also add that Jean personally emailed me throughout the resolution to reassure me. Its obvious that reviews can be harsh when something goes wrong although I try to be honest and factual only. However when a company make such efforts to make things happen for you and you feel like the person representing the company is making it their business to make sure you are a delighted customer, then this deserves to be shared. My experience started with a couple of problems but concluded with a delighted and will be a repeat customer. I cannot recommend Jean and Plaisir de la Cave enough. I can only say a simple thank you and wish you all a very happy Christmas. I will be ordering another couple of decanters in the new year as they are very stylish and from a company I really trust.
