Flexible enough even though shorter in length
Used this drill bit to do in-wall wiring in a small-ish house. Worked really well and flexible enough.

Worked perfectly, shorter lengths have less flexibility
Worked really well on a 2x4. I purchased the shorter bit and as expected it is not as flexible. The longer the bit the more curve you can give it. Note that you may need a separate tool to guide the bit for longer lengths. For mine, I found I was able to give it enough of a bend to drill straight. I also had no issues pulling the bit back. The drill bit does have a hole to tie something to it and pull it back with the bit. Overall happy with it and quite aggressive making the hole.

Great bit,
Great auger, broke one but I had it bent pretty good drilling through heavy duty timber. I have a lot of experience with fishing wire and using long bits up to 6’. I bought another one and carry it on my truck as a trust worthy tool.

Great For Wall, Ceiling and Attic Use
I needed to drill a hole for conduit through eaves and a header, and this bit was perfect. It made quick work of the wood, didn't wobble and self-centered really well. This does require a pretty powerful drill motor to operate, but once you turn it loose, it will definitely do the job...Recommended...

Terrible item…no flex at all
Don’t waste your money if you think you need flexibility , this item is not for you , I should have read feedback I would have save 28 dollars

Used to tunnel under concrete walkway
Made pulling a uf wire to my well a pretty quick job. Dug trench, drilled from one side of sidewalk to the other using this bit, slid in conduit, then fished the uf wire though. Easy peasy. This bit did not break bouncing off rocks attached to a 1950s dormeyer torque monster of a drill. Good quality

Worked great for drilling a blind hole in wall

Très bien
Ça a bien fonctionné. La tige n’est pas très flexible, mais ça perce très bien.

Drilled through Five 2"x4" fir studs but had to use some TLC
I was able to use the 9/16" bit to drill through five 2"x4" fir studs that were back to back. So, that's 7.5" of fir. The fir itself was somewhat old as the house was built in 1988. Though, it managed to drill through the fir, it didn't do it without some TLC.I used a 10 year old 18V Ridgid Drill (not an impact drill). The shank on the drill bit is much thinner than I would had expected. The first time I tried, after getting through 2-3 fir studs, the bit started to slip in the Ridgid chuck. I was surprised at how much the shank had twisted in that I needed to manually rotate the drill (over 360 degrees) so that I could put the drill in reverse to back out the bit. After I tightened the chuck as tight as I couild by hand, I didn't want the bit to slip, so, I would drill about 1/4"-1/2" at a time and backed out the bit to clear out any sawdust/debris to reduce the force on the shank as much as possible. Eventually, I was able to drill through the 5 fir studs. The bit itself will grab the wood, so, no need to 'push' the bit into the wood to be drilled.Wish the shank diameter was a bit wider but that would make the shank less flexible. Buy the way, I wouldn't want the shank to be any more flexible because as mentioned above, when I first used the bit when it got stuck 2-3 firs in, the shank was wound up pretty tight.Usage HINT. So, don't put so much torque on the drill bit and only drill a bit at a time if you find that the torque is large. That would probably explain why some users had indicated that the bit 'broke' because the torque exceeeded the capability of the metal shank.

36 inch drill bit
Ran wire for ceiling fan, worked as advertised, drilled through floor joists with ease, was glad did not have to open up ceiling, was able to attach wire to drill bit to fish back to source. Also used to drill through basement ceiling at bottom plate of kitchen wall to install receptacle, did not have to open up wall!

It works like it’s supposed to
It did a great job getting through the insulation and a few wood studs. I was able to fish my cable at the end. Didn’t snap or anything. But keep it in mind, I had to use low speed on my drill to get more torque to drill through everything. Your bit might get tangled up with the fibreglass insulation.

Cuts through the wall and studs like they were butter.
Drill the hole then use the bit to pull the cable/wire back through. Makes it easy to do a professional looking job.
