I just received the Allulose I ordered from Wholesome. Before I even open the package I see that this product was best used before 10/23/2024! WTH?!? What reputable company or sponsor is going to send outdated food product! Good for them they got my $34 plus change as this item is non-returnable!! I bought the two packages together as it was cheaper that way! Save yourself, and order from somewhere else!! Such a crock!!

Great product to replace sugar and if you go into the YouTube rabbit hole, you’ll see even endocrinologists are recommending this one. The only issue is the bag which does not seal after opening. You have to put it in a larger Ziploc bag.

I am no sugar hound...in fact, sugar in soft drinks and other liquids makes me sick so I partake only those with artificial sweeteners despite their drawbacks...diet Pepsi is my Achilles heel... the 4 stars are for the health benefits with 1 star taken away for the sweetness and possible stomach upset...the sweetness is far overstated...Splenda (which I use) is far sweeter than this item on a per gram basis and this does not taste anything like sugar...and it does have an aftertaste... to get anywhere near an artificial or regular sugar sweetness the risk here is in the stomach upset territory...at my age I can't overlook the health benefits so my compromise is to combine Splenda with this product and use less Splenda with both my coffee and tea. Not perfect as most things go but workable for me in the long run. At least, this is my reality check with this product. Use it for health benefits but watch the over-hype. Direct tasting the product on the tongue does not translate as sweet when combined with another product such as a liquid. Somehow the sweetness is lessened in this combination. This might contribute to the illusion that it's as sweet as sugar. The grind on this product (like a dust) is far better than others which are more difficult to dissolve. This is the one I would go to for further orders.
