These are pretty bright, and the motion detect works well. I like that I can mount the solar panel where it gets the most sun (the front of my shed) while the lights are mounted onto the side of my shed. I did have them mounted using epoxy putty onto the Rubbermaid shed, but they fell off and hit the ground. Even after that, the lights still worked well. I now have them mounted in a more secure fashion. I would buy these again if needed. NOTE: I would have purchased another set for a garage in a condo down the shore where I can't install any plug-in lights. The garage is dark during the day, and I wanted to install these, as there is a spot outside the garage that I can access for the solar panel. However, as someone noted, while the battery is charging, the light will not go on. That is not an issue for where the light is being installed outdoors, but if the light is inside (like inside a shed or garage), and you need it to come on during the day. you will not be able to use this light. I purchased a separate 12V LED motion-detect light, a 12V rechargeable battery, and a 20 Watt solar panel (all from Amazon) and created my own version.

These lights are very bright. Easy to adjust. And not very hard to install. I installed this light on my shop where we park cars. I was very surprised at how bright they are. Not only do they light up the cars. They light up the driveway, backyard, back door and the neighbors house. The only thing that I dont really like is the small power cord that runs from the solar panel. It works fine. So far I have had no trouble with the cord. It jus seems to be fragile to me. However that is just my opinion. As I said I have had no trouble with that cord. This light is a great value for the money. I definitely recommend this for any one needing an outdoor security light.

Update note 2/1/24 - 2 years into setup, noticing that lights do not appear to function in winter. Not sure if do to shorter days and not enough sunlight to charge batteries, batteries need replacing, or other issue, very disappointing. Will check again in the Spring, I seem to recall the same issue last year but then they worked again in the Summer, so I will comment again in a few months. Did not change original star rating.Motion sensor angle is not true 180 degrees this was very disappointing. Lights are very bright and offer good coverage with movable heads. Build quality is adequate but plastic, I had a similar product from a few years ago made much better with metal bracket. Just started using do will update after a few months to see about usage and issues.

Initially, this was a one star rating. see below...But, I liked the concept and design (except for the poor instructions on how to operate it).I re-ordered. This second one works well and I now recommend this product. I am now giving it a five star rating.The first review.Installed as directed. Unit was apparently defective. Solar Panel was in direct sunlight for five hours each day for five days sunny days and one cloudy day. The lights would never turn on. Tried using the remote control and tried using the switch on the body. Product was sent back to Amazon for a refund.

UPDATE: These lights are garbage. The original purchase worked for about two weeks. Then, the motion detection circuitry would not detect any more the dogs in the backyard. So, I returned it to Amazon and got a replacement. The replacement was a light and the solar panel just thrown into a box without packaging. It was like it was a used light. This light had the same problem with the motion detection circuitry. I was REALLY disappointed in Amazon shipping me a used light. I sent the used light back and go my money back. These lights have real problems -- poor quality.First, let me say that this turned out to be a great light. However, the description and instructions were very weak from the standpoint of the light's capability.I needed a light for my fenced in backyard & my German Shepherd Dogs. The light's description says it came on when motion was detected and then went off in 30, 60, or 120 seconds. I needed the light to come on when motion was detected, stayed on until there was not any more motion, and then when out after a set amount of time. I had a similar light in my old house which worked like I wanted. So, I took a chance and bought this light hoping it would work like I wanted.What I found was when the light is switched to AUTO, the light will come on when there is motion detected. It stays on as long as there is motion detected. When there is no more motion detected, it will go off in 30, 60, or 120 seconds, depending on where the switch is set. This is just what I wanted. THE SELLER NEEDS TO UPDATE THE DESCRIPTION ON AMAZON AND THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT COME WITH THE LIGHT TO REFLECT THIS OPERATION.I also found that the light adequately lit up my fenced in backyard which is 128 feet wide by 52 feet deep -- it is a relatively big backyard. I mounted it on the back side of the house and the light reflects off of the white vinyl privacy fence such that we could easily see our two German Shepherd Dogs everywhere in the yard -- they could actually see their green ball when playing catch.I also found that the batteries in the light are large batteries -- 2-3 times the size of a AA battery. The batteries could easily be removed and and can be replaced (replacements are sold on Amazon). Also, the batteries could be charged with my rechargeable battery charger -- thus, not needing three days of initial charging with the solar panel.Overall, I am very happy with the light. I am very disappointed with the SELLER's description on Amazon and the SELLER's instructions that came with the light. I hope they will make changes for the next buyer like me.

when the other 3 get here , it will be nice all are the same, makes it easier to set up and trouble shoot if needed. will make everything look nice also being all the same! as our yard is 25'w x 100'l

This product was used for a driveway nighttime security light. Motion detection And brightness is good quality. Luckily after the way Amazon delivered the package it wasn’t stolen from in front of my gate (when it could’ve been put behind my gate )so I actually got to install the product and give this review.

I have an elderly dog and have to help her out to our yard during the night. This light has made it so much easier for me to see in our backyard (make sure critters are not around) so I can see when I carry the dog to the lawn area. Wonderful, bright light!!!
