C.F. Martin & Co. Acoustic Guitar Body (MSP6100)

These strings are great. Order them, you won't be disappointed. I typically use Elixir's but recently switched to these Martin's about 5 months ago. They don't last quite as long as the Elixir's but the trade off in quality and sustain is worth it. Seriously, they sound like butter. No harsh tinny overtones. Just extremely smooth.I've played a Takamine TAN16C for a Praise and Worship band for roughly 8 years and have tried all kinds of strings. I'm sticking with these.

So glad I discovered these strings. They sound like uncoated strings and still going strong after 6 weeks. I kill non coated strings usually In a couple hours so have played elixirs for the durability but hate their plasticy sound. These have the longevity of elixirs with the sound and feelof a non coated string. Have these on my 2009 Gibson AJ.

I wasn't sure if these would give a good enough tone for a Martin guitar. They sound great on my Martin D-28. They don't inhibit the deep sound of the three piece back at all. Easy on the fingers.

The strings sound really good. Only strange thing is that they are dark gold in color. Even the E & B string are gold. Never seen strings that look that this. We will see how they hold up.

Great bargin, I wanted to stay with the same strings that came on my Martin, stayed in tune as well as sounded great.

Strings sound fine but we are finding they are not any better than the normal SP lights. I thought these were made to last longer with players who have that skin chemistry that darkens and dampens strings faster than most....not the case here. After a few sessions they are already turning dark and that's after a wipe down after each session. Not impressed.

Love these strings. Dont last as long as the dadarrio exp16’s i normally use but are very bright and resonant. Definately make great stage strings or for the person who puts new strings on every 2-4wks to keep their guitar sounding its best always. Stretch not an issue with these.

Habiendo pasado por john pearse y daddario, definitivamente me quedo con estas. Las pearse suenan muy muy bien al ponerlas, pero mueren en pocas horas. Las daddario sin coating no me gustan nada, no suenan. Las daddario exp suenan muy bien y duran más, pero se nota demasiado el coating (al atacar las cuerdas con el pulgar se escucha el "plástico"). Estas martin lo tienen todo: sonido, potencia y durabilidad, el coating no se nota. Perfectas en mi Martin de caoba.
