This rack went on the inside of my 3-ft wide closet door. It works perfectly, and is worth the money!. The two mounting holes are about 1" in from each end of the base aluminum strip. This works perfectly with the interior wooden frame of my closet door. The hangar-hooks are very good quality, with a shiny aluminum finish. The aluminum base is very sturdy, 1/4" thick x 4" wide x 3' long, and is finished as brushed aluminum. It has a simple appearance, but looks good in the closet. It now holds 6 of my heavy robes.

I had one in my old apartment and when I moved, I purchased it and put it up. It is so sturdy and perfect size for all my things. I put it up in the bathroom.

I don't know what the guy is talking about that said he needed to paint this.. Its a brushed aluminum finish, very slick looking. Price is really good too.. you can find these for over $60 on grainger

These are wonderful and definitely stand up to a fair amount of abuse. The only downside is that the screws were a little long for our inch-thick door, so we had to buy smaller ones for the install.

Our office purchased two sets of these racks. One for the front office coats and one for the server room to hold reflective gear/emergency wearables. The racks are functional and withstand the weight of fully loaded "Canadian Winter Jackets"
