The mac truck driver at my shop recommended grey pneumatic as a cheaper alternative to mac tools for starting mechanics or at home tool sets because they are a lot cheaper than mac tools. the mac driver carries grey pneumatic tools and offers and honors the lifetime warranty on grey pneumatic tools for professional use with impacts and other power tools. they are not the same quality as mac, Matco, or snap on tools by any means. but i do like them more than craftsman tools. My only complaint is that the tools come coated in a light film of oil. That oil is necessary to prevent the sockets from rusting. I bought a 3/8 set of grey pneumatic duo sockets 7 years ago. some of the more used sockets have had the oil worn off. A few of those sockets have developed some surface rust. it comes off when polished, and does not affect the performance of the tools. i bought this quarter inch set to my tool collection recently. it seems to be the same quality as the 3/8 set. I'm happy with my purchase for my at home toolbox. btw, amazon has a way better price on grey pneumatic tools than my mac truck. my mac driver has said he will warranty the tools regardless of where i bought them. i recommend grey pneumatic sockets to most of my friends.

I have been slowly converting over to all Grey pneumatic sockets and so far i have not broke any daily using them in a repair shop. I had wore out 2 12point 3/8 drive sockets over the years but thats it. This 1/4" drive set is holding up just as well as my 3/8" and the 1/2" set. Best part is this brand don't skip all the sockets like most other brands do. One of there biggest selling points to me. Just don't try using any Grey pneumatic ratchet other then with a hand. They wont live up to a pipe on them.

GP makes good products. I now have the 3/8” and 1/4” sets. Look great and work well. I love that these come in complete sets. I hate missing sizes like a craftsman set. These are way cheaper than Snap On and are still a professional tool.

I have been using this set for a few years now and love it. 1/4 that goes up to 15mm is very useful. very high quality tool set and will be buying the 3/8 and 1/2 sets.

Unlike Grey's other socket sets this one is clearly marked for sizing for each socket.I have the other sets and socket size markings disappear after a few months.

I've been wanting this set for a while haven't broken one yet not saying I won't but all the sizes in a nice case makes it worth it

I've owned these a while now and have to say they are top notch. I'm a heavy line mechanic for heavy equipment and these sockets have become the workhorse of my socket drawer. it's nice having one socket that is able to go from ratchet to impact and back.
