ColumbiaMen's Redmond Iii Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe

This is my first pair of Columbias, but not my last. We bought them for a cruise & they outperformed every hiking shoe I’ve ever had. Super comfortable, well built & amazing traction in all conditions. And they look great while doing it. Love these shoes, worth every penny!

I went on a shoe buying frenzy. I bought 6 pair of various hiking boots, tennis shoes, leather walking boots and I like this pair the best out of them all.

these are great boots, they're; comfortable, fit well, and well made. columbia is a quality brand, i've been buying them for years now. just a note, i've found that you should order them 1/2 size larger than the shoes you normally buy.

I work outside where I need durable shoes that can withstand the elements. I have literally stepped fully into puddles, been in rain, and had dirt fall on them, and they really are waterproof after 2 months in. The tread gives a lot of feet support, and they also brush dirt off super easily. I haven’t had to clean them at all since dirt basically just comes off once you walk in them enough. They also are an attractive looking shoe that I have used casually for hiking, and have gotten compliments on. My only complaint, which is likely due to my own feet size difference, is the right feels a tad tighter than the left at the toe and the ankle. There also has been some chafing already on the inside of the shoe at the heel and toe area, but I use them every day so that’s understandable. Overall I am really satisfied with the quality for this price, it didn’t break the bank for a good shoe.

Toe cap stitchong started to come loose as soon as I started wearing these. All I did was walk and gently ride my bike. The rest of the shoe is completely solidcand durable. Just weak thread used to keep the toe caps attached to the shoe upper. Maybe I got a pair from a bad batch, and maybe that's why I got them for 70% off of tetail here on Amazon.Anyway, it was such a good deal, I pulled out a strong needle, a thimble (had to buy a large one) and some stronge thread, and re-sewed both toe caps, myself. Sometimes it takes a little work to get a real bargain.

I spray yard for a living and this time of year they are wet but with these my feet have stayed dry and warm

Hopefully this helps someone. I wear a 10.5 in timberland hikers, and a 10 in twisted x. Ordered these in a 10.5.they are a little short. Notice on the tag, it's a 43.5 European. I wear a 44 European. Going to try and break them in. They don't say slip resistant but wearing them at work in a tractor repair shop, they seem fine.

This is my second pair from Columbia.It is the "wide" version and perfect for an aging person whose feet are spreading out with age. I used to suffer from numb toes but now this has been solved in a very comfortable and good looking shoe.I would recommend them for all seasons.As for the waterproofing: excellent. I was caught in a rain storm earlier this week and no worries of even damp.I'm also an avid biker (bicycle) and these are very comfortable allowing the foot to breathe.The shoes are very sturdy and have held up beautifully.I would buy a 3rd pair tomorrow!

This is a nice hikering shoe. There light and water proof. They fit true in size although i find it a bit snug in toe hight but not uncomfortable. Hopefully these last longer then the other columbia boots ive been buying.

Après deux semaines d’utilisations quotidiennes pour promenade de chien en Belgique, temps humide, je me retrouve à sentir mes pieds humides après une marche de 30 mins dans des herbes mi haute humides, c’est juste inacceptable pour des chaussures prétendues waterproof de plus j’ai manqué plusieurs fois de perdre l’équilibre en glissant sur des surface humide comme des pavés

Ho acquistato questi scarponcicni qualche mese fa in sostituzione dei miei vecchi scarponcicni.Dopo un intenso utilizzo, 3gg a settimana di camminata in montagna per circa due mesi, posso dire che sono delle scarpe veramente valide e comode.Realizzati con materiali di ottima qualità, questi scarponcini sono notevolmente resistenti agli urti e alle abrasioni, garantendomi una protezione ottimale durante le mie escursioni in montagna.Mi è capitato molte volte anche di dover attraversare corsi d'acqua e ance sotto quel punto di vista veramente una super tenuta.La calzata è perfetta e l'ammortizzazione è molto efficace, consentendomi di camminare per ore senza avvertire alcun tipo di fastidio.In conclusione, consiglio vivamente questi scarponcini da trekking a chiunque sia alla ricerca di un prodotto di alta qualità, resistente e comodo. Sono sicuro che non vi deluderanno!
