My first impression of these phone pouches are that the clamping mechanism is quite flimsy. There is no comforting click when closing the levers and the black hard plastic pieces do not give the impression of a very tight fit. At least not secure enough to protect a phone costing hundreds of pounds.I placed my iPhone 11 Pro Max with basic silicone cover inside the pouch and it was a tight fit. I wouldn’t put anything else in there with it. No room. I tested using the phone screen while it was inside and it worked fine, just a little less sensitive than using the screen direct.I then removed the phone and put paper tissues inside to test how waterproof it was. After closing the pouch I ran cold water over it and also submerged it in a basin full of water and squeezed and moved it around for a few minutes.I was surprised to see that the tissue remained dry. After thoroughly drying the outside of the pouch I opened it again and there was water inside the black plastic clamp area, but not inside the pouch itself.My conclusion is that these pouches would be very useful to use a phone outside in wet weather but I would not risk my expensive phone in one while swimming. As they are advertised primarily for swimming and diving I was tempted to give fewer stars, but when you look at the price, is anybody seriously going to rely on such a cheap product to protect a valuable phone?I would use it swimming if I needed to carry a little cash or payment card but nothing water sensitive.I would also use it to carry my phone in bad weather if I was likely to need to use it in a hurry without having to delve through layers of clothing.

Not used yet as they are for my holiday but they look to be good quality for by the sea to keep that pesky sand out. They fit my large Samsung phone perfectly

While it successfully kept our phones secure during the thrilling activities, one pouch exhibited a concerning laxity in its locking mechanism.The pouch design seemed reliable, providing a protective layer against the elements. However, the inconsistent locking tightness raises doubts about its reliability underwater. We would exercise caution in fully submerging the pouch, given this observed variability.Despite this, the pouch managed to shield our phones from the challenges posed by a dynamic outdoor adventure. Its transparency allowed for easy use of touchscreens, enabling us to capture memorable moments without exposing our devices to potential damage.

Very happy with this item. I got these for me and my partner to used on a further holiday.I've tested them out in the sink and they work perfectly.

Great value at two in a pack. Easy to open and secure. Fits iPhone 13 well. Will come in handy at the beach or by the pool to keep valuables dry.

The case, holds the phone well, and I'd be happy enough to use it in heavy rain whilst walking or cycling, or for general protection from sand on the beach. However I wouldn't like to trust it with a £1000 phone for swimming. I guess you get what you pay for, and for a couple of pounds each, these are not too bad.
