The honey coloured fur was a real winner here, as were the glittery rimmed eyes, which gave him a cheeky quality.Well labelled, with all the 'extras' such as bow and eyes, firmly attached.I wasn't too certain about the head tilted pose he seemed to have, as it threw his plump cheeks into a rather distorted perspective.The real thing which dropped the star rating for me though, was presentation for the quite high price tag. He was firmly rammed, in an extremely painful looking position, into the smallest poly bag possible, which wouldn't have looked very appealing had I been giving it as a gift and at the hefty cost of £17 didn't scream 'value for money'.Overall, highly squishable and just the right size for lots of hugs!

This medium-sized teddy bear is very cute and very soft - the plush fur has a silky, soft feel that makes it very cuddlable. It's a good size for a child over 2 years but might be a bit big for a younger child. Importantly it has a UK CE label to confirm compliance with the basic safety standards for toys.The bear is of the traditional kind, with an appealing face, pale fur and an attached bow tie. The arms and legs (and head) are not fully jointed, which means the bear is less posable but makes it soft all over - a bonus for younger children or anyone else looking for a toy that can be snuggled up with. It comes in minimal and utilitarian packaging - a polythene bag - so you might want to get a nice box for it if giving it as a special gift. I think any child up to about 7 years would find this teddy appealing and a comforting companion at bedtime.

My daughter loves teddy bears so I knew this would be a great choice.It's an average size for a teddy, perfect for little ones. It really well made, and the fabric and materials are lovely and soft.It would be perfect as a gift for a newborn etc.On the whole my daughter loves it and would recommend not to any other little ones.

This is a fairly large, soft teddy. The bear is made from a textured plush, which gives a curly fur appearance, and is filled with soft stuffing. The bear has slightly odd looking eyes - rather piercing - which I realised is because the irises are glitter-filled.After choosing this one, I regretted ordering the version with a bow, rather than one of those with a jumper as the bow is not very child safe: it's made from an organza-type ribbon and the ends haven't been sealed, so this frays badly. I would definitely remove the bow before giving this to younger children (under 3s).The only real downside to this for me, is that it's not suitable for machine washing - indeed surface wiping only is recommended - which isn't ideal in a child's soft toy.
