I ordered this stocking cap with attached light for the winter mornings up here in the hinterland when the garbage can needs to be put out at the end of the driveway and the only thing shining before 7 AM are the glowing eyes of the oversized dogs... and everyone has at least two...that are being walked by their owners... or am I supposed to say "parents"? I admit my main concern was that this hat was going to be too small. Stocking caps are often too small for my noggin and our family history was documented by my dad who would often say "there are no pinheads in this family!" The description said it would fit men or women so I knew I was taking a chance. It's a fantastic fit! I don't know if it will shrink a lot when washed, but if it doesn't shrink, some of you might find this a little big and it's a "one size fits most" product. Yes, you can wash it. The light snaps off before you wash it and the light is recharged with a USB port. No charger is included. The push button on the side of the light switches between 3 light levels. The first level is the ring of LEDs around the outside of the light. The second level is the single larger LED in the middle of the light. The brightest light is the third level when all the LEDs are on. It puts out a lot of light and should be perfect for anytime you need a hands free light and it isn't the peak of summer. I'm very pleased with this purchase. I'll do an additional post of washing it changes my mind.

I love the idea of the integrated light in the hat. It is very bright and rechargeable with the included charging cable.The hat is super soft and fits well. It's very stretchable so will adjust to various sizes.The attached light is removable which makes it great for washing. I will say that the light is pretty heavy for being attached to a hat and sticks out quite a bit. I think it would be better if the light was a little smaller and lighter in weight. Otherwise, Great!

The removable light is the best feature of this lighted beanie. Usually, the lightening unit is permanently attached to the beanie. This light clips to a hard plastic piece on the beanie. The light has 3 modes that change with the press of a button. The beanie is soft and stretchy with a medium thickness.

I got this for me so I can see when riding my bike at night. But, my husband has taken ownership of it. He likes how bright it is. He has another one that is not as bright. I wonder if I can take ownership of his old one since he likes mine better. Wish me luck.

There is a usb-c cable included to charge the headlight, but make sure you take the light off the beanie before charging it. Super easy, just lift the light up from the top, and it will come off. It is basically a clipper with light.Overall, I am very impressed with the creative design and high quality product! I will wear this beanie when I go out for my early morning run. I really like it and would highly recommend this product.
