Easy to use
Iron tablets upset my stomach so I found this spray easy to use ,digest and pleasent to the taste. I take 2 sprays in the am with breakfast and 2 with my evening meal. I'm happy to recommend it to those who hate taking iron tablets. There's nothing I dislike about this spray 😊

Disappointed
I thought this would be a quick way to try and increase my iron intake. The first time I used it, I found the flavour far from strawberry. Over the next few days I carried on with it. However a week in, the spray stopped working.

Interesting Tablet Alternative But Unpleasant Artificial Flavouring
I’d not come across Revitalive before but the idea of an oral spray for an iron supplement was quite appealing. This one strawberry flavour and it’s GMP certified and vegetarian. It comes boxed, with more information and ingredients listed on there. The liquid is in a pretty small 42ml plastic bottle with push down pump and clear cap.For 35 doses, I think the price at the time of writing (£6) is pretty reasonable but keep in mind the dose isn’t high. You get 5mg of iron per dose, though that dose is recommended as 6 sprays per day. For reference, the NHS suggests 14.8mg iron per day for women age 19 to 50 (and 8.7mg for men) so for me, this spray isn’t going to do what I need it to as I’m chronically iron deficient. The spray would, however, be really good as a top-up to supplement your diet when you need it.To use, spray into your mouth and hold it under your tongue for about 30 seconds before swallowing to help it absorb. You can take it with or without food. We’ve had it with and without and haven’t had any problems thankfully so it seems quite gentle.I find this easy enough to use and it’s convenient to try if you don’t fair well with tablets and capsules for whatever reason. The brand claims this has “excellent absorption” but sadly I’ve no way of saying how well this has worked thus far so I’m trusting it’s hopefully doing something. What I don’t like so much is the taste. It does have that fruity strawberry edge but it’s very phony and artificial, and a tad sickly. There’s also what I think it a blood tang to it as an aftertaste, which isn’t pleasant. It’s not awful and it could be worse, but it could be a lot better, too.All in all, it’s an interesting and fairly convenient alternative to your usual tablets and capsules. However, you do need quite a bit of the spray per application for a single dose and the taste is, for me at least, rather yucky.

Easy to Take Spray Iron Supplement That Tastes of Strawberries
I have been prescribed ferrous fumarate tablets by my GP because I have low iron. However, I cannot take them because they knock my stomach right off. I stumbled upon this oral spray and didn't know that alternatives were available. Having read that this iron supplement is manufactured in the EU and registered in Ireland, I felt reassured and confident to try it. I like that it's vegan and is certified GMP. I understand that this is short for Good Manufacturing Practice which is a system for ensuring products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. This is a low dose of iron for me, compared to my prescription, but any iron intake is better than none. It's taken as a spray into the mouth. The product is exactly as described. It really does taste of strawberries, and is not unpleasant. There is a brief iron-like aftertaste, which quickly fades. I don't eat red meat anymore, but from memory, it kind of gave me that distinct taste you get after eating a beef steak. The dose is a single spray six times a day. I hope that I can remember to use it. Right now, obviously, I can't tell you if it makes me feel better because that is going to take time. If however, it does, I will definitely be ordering more. The cost is very reasonable and it's very easy to take, tastes nice and doesn't cause upsets.

Terrible
This is one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted, absolutely disgusting. Tastes like bloody meat and grass. The taste lingered as well. Even if this did work I definitely couldn’t stomach tasting that each day.The spray also didn’t work properly I had to depress it about 9 times as several times it just didn’t spray anything out

Unpleasant taste
I am unable to comment on the iron content of this spray as I don’t have the ability to chemically test the product nor blood test results although I have no reason to doubt the manufacturers. What I can comment on is the ease of application and taste. For those who don’t like/can’t take tablets this may be a great solution to managing to increase iron intake. The bottle comes ready primed and the spray worked after just two pre-pumps. You spray six pumps into your mouth and swallow or under your tongue and hold for 30s before swallowing for quicker blood absorption.Unfortunately for me I couldn’t get past the taste. The manufacturer has tried to hide the Ito taste with strawberry flavouring but it’s not strong enough or the right thing to mask the flavour. The end result is a metallic faint strawberry sweet flavour that’s not great. I couldn’t hold the spray under my tongue due to the flavour and have found that even eating immediate after I can still taste it slightly. It also leaves a slight numbing sensation in the mouth. Some may like the flavour but for me it’s a no.

Less blackouts maybe?
I have noticed I don't fall back when I sit up from the sofa so I think it is helping, the taste isn't that good though despite the flavouring.
