Works great!
Why did I wait so long to get one of these?? It's lightweight, not bulky. It's relatively quiet and easy to use. It's so fast to shrink wrap my products, and they look so much more professional now! I've only used the low heat level, and it works great.

For a very inexpensive heat gun, this works great!
I purchased this in my efforts to learn how to vinyl wrap smaller car elements. I did my front, back and steering wheel badges, as well as chrome delete recently (although I didn't need the heat gun for the latter since it was 90 degrees outside) and I have to say, it performed better than I expected. The vinyl was very workable with the heat generated from this and I rarely even put it on the high setting. My only real complaint is the position of the button. I often found myself struggling to turn it off and set it down safely (using the handy built-in 'kickstand') quick enough to get a good amount of work time with the vinyl with each heating. This was due to the fact that it was so awkward to get to the button while holding it as one naturally would while using it, so I would need to either hold it 'backwards' while using it, or flip it around in my hand, switch it off, set it down, then begin to work on the heated portions of vinyl. On several occasions, it was a bit too cool by the time I had my hand free that I needed to heat it up again. This meant I was using it longer or opting for the high setting - but then I had that much more awkwardness to slide the switch two places over instead of one and the center/low setting has such a stiff topping point that sometimes I'd think I had slid it all the way and begin to set it down, only to realize it was still on low.Having said all of that, once I got the hang of it, it worked like a treat. It was even easy to use it while inside my car when wrapping the badge on my steering wheel. Keep in mind, this was my first time using a heat gun, wrapping with vinyl, etc. So given how well everything turned out, I'd say this little heat gun did more a than sufficient job.No pictures of the gun itself, just the first badge I wrapped!

Works Great
Got this to use for heating shrink tubing. Works great. Easy to hold and has 2 heat settings. The nozzles are also good for tight spots. Also good for anything you need to heat fast.

works great
I got this to use with embossing powder im making invitations and it worked great however it is a little loud but I can deal with that but the cord it is really short about 36 inches. from the plugin on my floor to my desk it leaves about 5 inches of give to move the gun around yeah I know I could use a extension cord but I cant always find one

A little wimpy
While it gets pretty hot, don't expect to be thawing frozen evaporator coils with it! More suited to small crafts or heat shrink wiring connectors. Not a very powerful blower at all, but it can run for a long time without problems. That little plastic kick stand broke off and got lost almost immediately, as well as the little doo-dads that came with it. Needs a carrying case to keep all that stuff safe.
